Someone Please DOGE J&J

J&J needs to be DOGED, so much waste, especially with too many lazy VPs & lazy Directors that make $500k each or more in total compensation. Save $1MM for every 2 lazy VPs or Directors. Easy Peasy.

as a lazy J&J director , not long back home , after another 13 hour day, since back from a exhausting trip to APAC trying to drum up some sales.. you must be inhaling plastic melt if you think a director in J&J sees 500k a year.... wise up buddy . or move on

Boo Hoo. I’m already wise. Total Lie. $300,000 minimum base, 25-30% Bonus = $90,000 more, 401k match, LTIs. Easily $500,000 loaded. Do the math, idiot buddy!

I do agree that they should be DOGE-ed. The number of genuinely competent directors are probably just 20%. The rest are just "people managers" who do not know how to build their teams' expertise and skills.

So true......the J&J income algorithm would NEVER allow that.

This guy is smoking crack if he thinks average Directors make 500k. I'm a D1 in Medtech and at 225 base + 25% bonus + 25% LTI.

You might hit 500k if you've been a director 15-20 years and get an E/E rating

No, you are apparently very underpaid or you are a HR hack. Look at the other posts on here from real people.I had direct knowledge of D1s making an average of $225 base back in 2014. That’s $300k + now. Don’t forget your 401k match, your cell phone, your car, etc, etc. this does not include your added pension value in 2024 which is calculated on your base.

You are not telling the truth. Or you are a new hire. Directors have more than 25% Bonus and 25% LTI.
Sorry if they changed the bonus structure for you …I’m at a much higher LTI.

DOGE ing J&J is not a bad idea. There have been attempts over the last 25 years to delayer the structure. Each time, it does not work. Having been through at least 5 different re-orgs, I kept hoping those that are the problems would be shown the door. Issue is that they manage “up”…well

Actually, all they have to do is listen to Deloitte or McKinsey…If they were to just say 50% of Directors/Senior Directors/VPs are cut. No options to rejoin, it would help to severe the managing up mentality and have people actually focus on the jobs. Seriously force all leaders out of the offices into the open concepts like Novartis, etc. Would take 1 year of managing this and you would see those that have to have a private secretary, a private parking spot, and a corner office, leave on their own.
