I know that Stiefel is a "sinking ship" but what division of GSK isn't these days?
I currently work for GSK and am looking for specific information regarding working for Stiefel. Thank you in advance for the honest/accurate feedback.
Do you use an ipad in the field and is the expectation that you will enter the call after each office you visit?
Do you have to do a precall on the ipad/computer before every call as well as a "free text" post call?
What is the lunch and learn budget like and how difficult is it to schedule lunches with the Derms?
I know access is horrible everywhere but is it slightly better with Dermatologists?
Do you get a target list of specific doctors/ accounts you need to call on or is it up to your discrection who to call on?
Is the training home based like it is for pharma?
How often do you have meetings?
Lastly, what one thing do you like the most about working for Stiefel?
Thanks again!!!!

Stiefel just reorganized territories and that is why some people were let go. Territories were based on new geographies. deems are still accessible and a great spec to call on. they are the reason people want to rep to Derms. we will be trained on 360 in June. We have target lists and have to hit R and F goals to earn part of bonus. we will be getting many new DMs and that will always matter about your happiness as a rep

"just reorganized and let some people go"- Alfonso announced before he left that we needed to cut back by 10-20%. There was a reorg but this is a nice in-house spin- is this from MD? He would (and should) have been axed with AU if he wasn't on disability when the hammer came down- terrible leader

Stay away. This place is awful, run by a bunch of morons. Leave GSK altogether.

Place is fine, clearly going through changes but new leadership seems terrific. I have no doubt sales will bounce back. The truth is former leadership was very weak and lacked the openess required to manage an important company.

Disingenuous bullshit at it's finest. Fact is they were a little too open and didn't strictly adhere to the way the people up top do business. Openness was their downfall. Ask any rep and they would say the place is not fine, their is no trust or respect for anyone in senior leadership, sales will continue to diminish as long as this division is treated like a primary care company, and it is only a matter of time before "dermatology" division is destroyed beyond repair as GSK did when they promoted valtrex. We can't keep paying the price for the billions in fines YOU have created, lack of oversight and obvious pandering to the FDA with this new sales model, and expect sales to "bounce" back. Now that's the Truth.

Disagree, I think an ethical and compliant company can succeed in the market place. Former leadership was comfortable "ignoring" questionable practices. Clearly GSK went through a tough compliant period before Witty took over, but today the stock price is solid and beating industry benchmarks. I think Stiefel can have the same bounce back now that Humpty's is gone. Let's keep our eye on Stiefel's performance and Merz. My money is on Stiefel.

As for "your money" I have some swamp land down south to sell you. It may be more valuable than Stiefel's market cap soon.Nothing changes with new leadership. The company continues to be unethical in the way it's treating good employees "made redundant" from the company. Current leadership is comfortable "ignoring" that as well.

If I wanted swamp land I'd go to Merz with Humpty. New management needs to make lots of changes. Ship is really broken. Don't blame the new team for trying to save the business. Blame the leader who brought it down.

I am telling you this ship is sinking. If you like taking tests and want to not be a sales person join this company. It's BS and they are ready to stop the derm biz. I'm serious they are a big joke.

Here is someone that has no clue. History shows that the company was doing just fine, up until GSK bought the company. This business just didn't fit. To blame Bill is just idiotic. Everyone knows that GSK calls the shots and it is your job to follow orders.

Thanks for the "dopey bill" perspective. weeeehhhh..they didn't let me lead...weeeehhh no one listened to me....weeehhh no one told me my acquisitions were ridiculous....weeeehhh everyone should have known I am dopey and can't build a business.

good people should stay with GSK

Good people? Most good people, in terms of sales are gone. If by good you mean people that will just take a check, keep their head down, and play the companies game, well you have plenty of that, but even they are looking. This is the worst company culture I have ever witnessed and this bullshit meeting isn't going to change that, even if it's in Miami. Btw, the words of inspiration fell on deaf ears.
