It's pretty easy. I've even gotten caught once, but most nurses are borderline idiots, and I usually explain that they're expired and it's my duty to destroy them. They give me a deer in the headlights look, and ask for pens.
I work in Internal medicine offices, and there's isn't much good to steal these days anyway. Occasionally there's some ambien cr, but that's garbage. I found some lyrica and tried that, but blah. Not impressed.
