It's time for accountability in your WHC franchise. It has been 3 years since you changed from Nelson and it has been a train wreck ever since. 3 years of failed strategy, failed results, and a steady decline in culture. We are constantly told about accountability, but where is it? Or is it just talk?
We were told on our call last week that we, the salesforce fell short. No accountability for their part. But what about our strategy and direction? Who is responsible for that? We were told, no one saw this coming, sure we did. We almost doubled our products life to 8 years, who could not see a drop in sales? 3 years ago, we completely changed our focus from a new and innovative low dose IUD, that was tailor made for the biggest portion of the contraception market 18-30 yr olds worried about hormones and pain, to focus on a 20 year old product with a nearly exact competitor at half the price. Who didn't see that coming? Now we complain about a 3-year products sales for that very same market, that it takes 3 of their products to make up one of our 8-year product. Who didn't see that coming. That strategy is what has us here.
We have turned our nose up to massive segments of our business, claiming to hold the margin line, and then we are surprised we miss the mark and don't hit goals. Then we try to recoup the business for less than what it would have taken in the first place. Who should be responsible and accountable for that? That strategy is what has us here.
We are told to ask any question, and they are the most transparent ever, unless you speak against their strategy and then you are labeled a disgruntled malcontent. We are told who to call on, how many times, and with what messaging. Who should be responsible and accountable for that? That strategy is what has us here.
So who should take accountability? The CSS, the RBM, the ABD? Or the person who is being paid to lead the organization, understand the business, and develops the strategy? Who is supposed to know when and how to adjust due to market conditions? Who is being paid for that? Who didn't see all of this coming? Who should have? Who should be accountable? Please let us know on your next town hall.
