Very arrogant CEO leads the way again to inappropriate illegal off label promotion and ignoring protested ads instead of taking the offensive and sending letters to marketing group responsible. Instead, typically AGN ignores and throws up hands saying its not responsible.
Then obviously inexperienced PR person makes matters worse by saying they may not complete 5 year Lap Band safety trial. FDA will not appreciate this and create major approval issues and warning letters will issue.
Keep in mind this may sound familiar as CEO, Pres and GC all ignored expert advice and let Botox off-label spiral out of control and eventually into $690 million dollar DOJ fine,$200milin attys fees,corporate integrity agreement and the abrupt departure of the GC.
