Holy shit, didn’t expect this one. Splitting the salesforce in half??? Max face and neuro have always complemented each other from a rep strategy/comp/hospital access standpoint. Apparently this is the final evolution for CMF- I think many great people will leave as this new model starts. Terrible idea.

lol I guess you are alone on this one bud.

It literally just went into effect Jan 1. Give it time to sink in. Tenured reps will love covering facial trauma only with no neuro anymore. Oh wait…
New to the industry and looking at CMF roles. Why is the loss of neuro a problem. More reps in the room taking money that should have been yours?

Predictable plating business that was great to have. If you didn’t/couldn’t get facial business neuro was a good route. Dura solutions. Bone cement. Custom implants. If you diversified your territory and sold the whole bag, neuro could easily be 50%+ of your revenue.

Would you rather stand for 3/4 hours in a facial case for $2k or have neuro on autopilot and pop in when you had a slow day? Great business to have, tough to flip but sticky once you had it.

You don’t want to be a facial rep, you’re just a trauma dog now. Facial trauma sucks.

I assume that's why they're hiring so many associates then, just so they can have more trauma dogs. Coming from a spine distributorship where reps were only taking home 3-400 for 6+hour cases(trust me, I know), I'll take the 2k and my foot in the door with Stryker. Appreciate the breakdown!
