Takeover


You must be kidding, retention bonus. They will hope you leave to bring in lower paid even worse yes men who will work for half of what you make. They will make up for the lack of quality with quantity and call it "share of voice". It doesn't work, but they are too stupid to know that.
 
I am a Sanofi Specialty Rep and survived multiple mergers. My gut told me to get out when Sanofi Bought Aventis. I stayed and regret not moving on. Your career will only move backwards if you stay. Even if you have to take less money or commission based sales.... quietly move on. I know you are thinking...How bad can it be? Truuuuuusssst Me. I have no axe to grind with SA, but it is really bad.

The Word now is that they have changed the term "retention" plan. Reason being only certain divisions are receiving this. Further certain individuals within those divisions are getting prefferential treatment in order to stay. They have great fear of losing those of us that have produced and put up good numbers over the years. However, nothing they say will change the environment or treatment that this company is producing and handing out.
