Teva Severance Package

Now that we are Teva and are about a year away from losing our jobs. What is the severance package? Since this is "the place where the best people come to work"...how well do they take care of their employees? The Cephalon package was 3 months plus 1 month for every year of service. Is it true, Teva's is just 2 weeks for every year? Sanofi's was 4 months and then 3 weeks for each year and an additional retention check which amounted to additional 40 grand for many.

The Teva severance package is cheap and it also requires you to sign that there was no age discrimination during the lay off process. That was/is certainly not true.
 


The TWH reps received 3 months if employed five years or less. 2 weeks per year otherwise.

Really? It's the worse severance plan in the industry..... The same rep under the Cephalon plan would have received 8 months!
A Sanofi Onc rep would have received 20-40 thousand dollars in a cash retention plan bonus at termination and then 7 months of severance.

So my 7 plus years of total experience with Cephalon really doesn't amount to much in the plan?

14 weeks will be what they give you. You are over the 5 year mark where you would get 12 weeks/3months....just add two more weeks. The only people who should stay at this company at this point are those that have been here 10 years or more. Another layoff is coming, probably by year end. Don't doubt it, because it is.
 


When I was laid off, they ASSURED us that we would be rehired as soon as any position in our geography was open. There have now been openings in my geography; and I was never seriously considered. I had great numbers.
So do not believe their BS about being rehired.
