The HR function at Convatec

Despite their claims, HR does not hire anyone, they do not develop employees, they do not fire or discipline anyone ---they do not recognize achievements of employees or groups, they do not develop solutions for problems or constraints. In fact HR at Convatec is a parody. The H in HR actually stands for Human, but these clowns have no understanding of Human. They are political, a blight on the employment sector.

It seems that they managed to develop one employee. I just flashed by Roger Arnell's LinkedIn profile. How does this oaf hand out his business card with a straight face?

Over the years and all the BS that has gone on here, the one consistent function was HR.
They are and always will be a waste of human(ity) and resources =HR.

Let's not forget how utterly stupid, incompetent and (oh did I mention) freaking stupid they are by GIVING OUT our personal information to thieves. A special F-U goes out to these jerks

Yep. I remember when I first met Roger at one of our National Meetings. For some reason he gave me his business card, and for some reason I kept it. Fast forward about a year, I really needed his help with a HR matter, so stupid me, I called him. Worst mistake ever. ConvaTec HR does not work for the employees, they are only there to protect ConvaTec and I was soon thrown under the bus. Obviously I was too trusting and naive. I will never forget what this company put me through, along with so many others. Worst ending to what I thought was an amazing, award winning career. It has been hard to "let go" of the hate, but that is what everyone impacted by the new ConvaTec must do. It is not healthy. Hopefully Karma will take care of all involved.
 
There are 25 great unsolved mysteries of the world. Why Roger has been allowed to continue to fester at Convatec is number 26. He is a bully who never contributed one positive thing during his entire tenure. I believe shortly after I left, (right after the exit of the great Valentino) good ole Rog was exiled to the Carolinas where he was rendered even more inert than he was after his buddy JB got the heavy hoe.
