The Reason No One Posts Here From Teva...








I finally thought of a positive thing to post. Yes the company we once knew as Teva is gone forever and is led by total incompetent morons. The sales culture has been destroyed. Morale in sales is at an all time low. But just think those of us in the East got to go to Miami, the West is going to a nice venue as well. That is my positive post because when I think about the poor reps in the central they get to go to warm Chicago for a freaking January kickoff meeting! I think they have gone there for about 5 years in a row so I'm thankful I'm not part of that mess. The AD is real innovative and creative coming up with Chicago for the 5th time in a row for those poor saps. I heard they have to fly on sunday as well!!! Who hired that clown anyway? Sorry Central Reps it must be a lot of fun working in your area and enjoying those great January meeting locations with sunday travel. Un - freaking believable!
 






We are having a good time in the West. Video role playing for a "specialty" force makes us all feel totally like professionals and trusted members of the company. After all "specialty" representatives need to be treated like entry level primary care reps so they don't take their jobs for granted. It represents great leadership when you build morale by treating your people like third graders. What bothers me is that LD and JC continue to stand by and do nothing but simply watch the sales force be totally destroyed and abused by the arse clowns. I have lost all respect for those I used to admire and would have given a left @#@ for in the past. Now I won't give any of these traitors the time of day. Boy I feel special.
 




Yep I agree with a lot of the previous posts regarding our culture. It is gone forever thanks to the most inept leadership I have ever witnessed. A lot of us were talking at the Area Meeting and another example of horrible leadership is how the current bonus is structured. We have Reps that all are doing the same things and working equally as hard. I have now witnessed some of these top ranked reps first hand and am not impressed whatsoever. What I mean by that is that they are not any better than any other rep here and in a lot of cases worse. Yet the discrepancies between reps bonus payout is enormous! More power to the reps that are simply lucky and will take home a crap load of cash. I am doing really well also, but I see reps that are much better than me getting totally reamed! There has to be reporting problems or something fishy going on because I know a lot of great reps at the bottom of the bs ranking report. I realize the mental midgets in charge will never do anything outside of the box when it comes to fair compensation and we will most likely keep the same unfair bonus system in place. After all it takes "leadership" to recognize a bonus system that isn't working fairly for all, and actually do something about it. We have lost a lot of great reps due to lack of fairness and leadership and I fear it will continue as a previous poster mentioned. When the brass at the top refuses to save the sales department from a punitive micromanager that is a non-leader, well we might as well forget it. Morale is extremely low and no one seems to care. Welcome to the new Teva.
 


Morale sucks in sales because the bonus system is totally bogus. We now get treated like new reps by our (lack of ) leadership. It used to be a great place to work but now is big pharma at it's worst. Teva is gone thanks to sales leadership destroying the company and the reps that built it.
 




Man can you guys whine! You must have all been here forever and never worked for big pharma. I am not so old to Teva and here are my thoughts:
1. Nice generous budgets for you to use as you deem necessary
2. Did you run out of budget later in the year and have important programs to do? Np more budget given to you
3. Your manager doesn't dictate what you should do in the field or how to allocate your budget you run your territory like your own business. What a concept!
4. Wow you don't get a roommate at meetings
5. Hotels are very nice
6. You think bonuses suck? Go to big pharma
7. A vp of sales who knows every rep by name
8. If top people are running down the sales force how could it be we are ranked number one and our products keep growing?
9. Yes I see reps work real hard. And yes I see newer reps who are doing better. I also see more tenured reps who don't work as smart and do many programs that don't translate to increased scripts- bottom line increased scripts equals increased volume and market share. If you have lost sight of that than go back to your business plans.
10. As per role playing ok I agree with you. It was nerve wrecking. None of it translates to what a rep really does in the field. Some of you must have spent two weeks memorizing your scripts in front of a mirror. I checked your rankings and you suck! So you memorized a role play and did great! Let me see you in the field targeting the right folks, building relationships with hard to see physicians and getting doctors who never attend programs to attend because of you!
11. As per bonuses I can see where a rep with a high market share has more difficulty of increasing share and perhaps there should be a components on existing market share. That I will give to you.


If you think Teva sucks go to Glaxo, Novartis, or Merck! They might give you the guidance you need or require
 




We all know who you are....here's a reality check for you!

1. Budgets are good- agreed
2. Programs are totally over rated and we do far too many - no return on investment
3. You have effectively "neutered" all field managers - Why are they all trying to get out you micromanaging prick?
4. No roommates at meeting? Have you ever heard of HR nightmares with having room mates? Yeah you have or you would have already made it happen you micromanaging prick.
5. Who gives a rat arse about hotels? We never see the light of day because we have to role play like elementary school children you micromanaging prick.
6. Our bonus program is horrible and has no fairness to it what so sever. We have some real tools getting paid big bucks based on easy goals in their territory you micromanaging prick.
7. VP of sales is you...you micromanaging prick. The reason you know everyones names is because you are in all of our business you micromanaging prick.
8. "We" are ranked number one because the reps have great relationships with their customers. You have nothing to do with the ratings you arrogant micromanaging prick.
Our products keep growing because after we play elementary school at meetings we all ignore most of the garbage that is currently on the curb waiting for the trash guy to pick up you micromanaging prick.
9. So you actually are calling out "tenured reps" as a weak link? If it weren't for the relationships (anyone with over 5 years of experience here have), Copaxone and Azilect would be dead last you mental midget. You are beginning to think a lot like Big Pharma Execs and I would suggest you stop reading those books because Big Pharma replaces anyone with over 5 years experience with Ken and Barbies. It doesn't work you micromanaging prick.
10. If you don't like role playing why do you make us do it you micromanaging prick? The ranking report is humorous! I am ranked high and I don't work that much. I see awesome reps at the bottom half and you mental midgets will never get it.

Why go to another Big Pharma company? We have that here now thanks to your relentless lack of leadership and your lack of trust in everyone but yourself.

Most of us are looking for smaller companies that have a great culture...you remember don't you? Teva used to fit that description before they appointed a micromanaging prick as VP of Sales.
 




The guy is probably pissed off for the same reason most of the sales force is. The current leadership has destroyed a great company where the best people "chose" to work. Now it isn't anything special, and that pisses all of us off. And I am in agreement that I believe the VP of sales posted it as well. I also think that the VP of sales also posed the question above. VP you aren't fooling any of us anymore and the reps have had it. We will not make numbers this year because everyone has now begun to give up because of the realization that we are not valued.
 


Ok I am curious now. No I'm not the vp. How different was teva before? Give me examples of how it was done before versus now? Guess it's time to watch the Fudge Packers play.
