Lincare is in total disarray right now. In my 5+ years with the company I haven't seen morale so low.

So hourly employees will see wage freezes effective June 1st. Yearly "merit" increases have always been laughable. These increases for all employees have typically been 3% across the board no matter how well or how poorly the employee has performed in the prior year. So my question is what incentives does an employee have if they will receive this wage increase no matter what? Make it a true annual review with wage increases bases on performance!!!

Overtime must now be approved by management. Our CSRs and service reps are so understaffed and overworked as it is. I guess they will just have to prioritize what gets done and what doesn't from now on...

Profit sharing is all but eliminated with thresholds being set so high. Our center has the highest EBITA % in our area and employees still don't receive profit.

All of this has resulted in horrible morale, decreased productivity, and decreased patient care/service. Good luck getting return calls and/or emails from other centers, RBCO, o2 conversion, etc.

It is very disheartening to see the lack of progress by the Kristin. Sure technology has taken a step forward & have definitely made progress to creating a safer work environment. But besides acquisitions, management has taken no steps towards growing our business. Keeping the same ineffective managers/executives in place will NOT ensure growth!

Ineffective current management only knows how to manage by intimidation and threats. Leaders lead by example. We have far too many bosses and two few effective leaders at Lincare. Good employees continue to flee Lincare at a staggering rate. What will be left??

And what is Greg's brilliant strategy for combating the first 6 month revenue drop of 20%??? Send a threatening email out to all the CMs across the country! Great strategy Greg!! As if center morale across the country wasn't bad enough. Perhaps you should roll up your sleeves and devise a strategic plan to grow revenues vs threats!

Of course this will never happen due to not having the capability of strategic thinking and unwilling to think outside the Lincare box. You obviously have learned this wonderful managerial skill from Byrnes & Schawbel. And unfortunately this tactic has been embraced by Regional and Area managers. Going into a center threatening employers and screaming at them is not a favorable managerial trait!!!

It is just unfathomable the lack of any nuance of leadership that is present at Lincare....
 


Completely agree with the above post. Greg is a joke and one of the poorest leaders I have ever encountered in my professional life. I left because my manager did absolutely nothing about patient complaints regarding a specific employee who also physically threatened to harm another employee. When he found out I was leaving for a competitor he called and threatened to sue me for non-compete. I told him to bring it on and we can address harassment in the same courtroom. I never heard from him again.

I cannot believe Linde management has not discovered how inept of a leader/manager he is. KH is gone after 2 years so how is it Greg still has a job? Perhaps the Germans are mesmorized by Greg's obnoxiously white teeth?

Held sales on the rise
Stagnant sales w/reduced reimbursement
Complete failure to launch LITE
Horrible employee retention

How does Greg still have a job??? Wake up Linde and send this clown down the road!
 






When we determine what centers are posting here we are gonna shut you down. Yes looking at you Colorado, Minnesota and Delaware. We know who you are.

The only ones that will be shut done is inept corporate drones when the Germans finally figure out what is going on within Lincare. Better brush up your resumes when the Germans start cutting the fat!!
 










Thank god sts is a thing of the past. Now as a rep if I could only find a way to it do half the deliveries and all of the setups. It is quite emberassing pulling up to the clinics in a big linde bus. All the drug reps chuckle at my wheels.
