They know that...?

It doesn't help that the managers are full time and seem to forget that we are not and are getting almost nothing for being here. Pfizer and Oncall really screw professionals who want to work and need work.

They have to know that with this horrid pay and no benefits, that the turnover will happen all the time as soon as people receive a better opportunity. There are probably a couple people here who just want flex and have benefits thru another source, but they are the minority.

Wow, thanks Pfizer. That extra $900 a quarter, best case scenario, for full time folks (which virtually nobody is) will come in REAL handy. What a crap contract.

would you please elaborate for those of us interviewing for open territories? Is $900 bonus number for hitting 96% targets or something else? I'm being quoted flat salary $2K/mo + $500/mo car allowance which comes out to $30K/yr for 24 hrs/wk?

They have the best leadership, internal support and clients. They care about their reps. They work hard to keep reps employed from contract to contract. That is more important to me than a few dollars.

My offer letter states $2k/month, $500 car allowance, and $500 per month for hitting 96% of targets. It didn't say anything about call quality being a part of the mix. On Call needs to have a private conference call with the reps on this contract and explain some things.

I feel like I need to apologize to the Premarin folks that may be reading these posts. They kicked in an extra bonus today and people are dismissing it as if it were nothing. I need this job and appreciate everything they are doing for us.

That's true. My offer letter did not say anything about 30% of the OnCall bonus being based on "call quality". Now, we have 5 components of "call quality", one of which is "goal attainment", that we have to satisfy the dm on.

As a matter of fact, my offer letter states a specific monthly bonus, and all it says is:

"Requires you completing at least 96% of your targeted calls for the month (obtain signature from targeted physicians)."

You must be getting paid a lot more than the new reps with Pfizer. Eating and living is important to new reps also. Almost all cost for pushing Pfizer's drugs are coming out of our pocket not theirs. The pay and expectations do not match. This contract will not work.

Apologize all you want, fine, anything is better than nothing, but let's not act like we are being paind comensurate for our skill level. It is a job, I will do my best, but I will take the 2.5 days a week I am not working to find a better opportunity that doesnt force me to pay an obscene amount for COBRA or drive my personal car into the ground.

I liked the guy mentioning "CafePharma" on the teleconference. Not a great sign if management peruses this site, and is basically admitting that the information they are sharing is so depressing that they assume the reps will go right here to share the disappointment.

Everybody stop bitchin
