I've been here since the beginning & this NSM is laughable. Now we have "Women Empowerment" after the Paul situation. They promoted people for no reason. They like to say they promote from within but only promote "Danny" favorites. Living in the Mid-west, territory is changing, no people of "color" have ever been promoted in this company. There are people who should have been a manager but they gave the job the the drunks. Run far away, no bonus money, they are clueless. Well, the upside is Texas has gone down and that's was Paul's baby

I do not understand why everyone does not like Texas. What did they do or what am I missing?

This place is so horrible. Any company that says they do not micro manage but have the managers ride with their reps every month micromanage. Run far, far away.

Agreed. My manager said the same thing when she hired me, that she was not a micro manager Wow was that a lie. She makes us do more reports and things that all other districts do not. She always like to say "this is how I did it". I want to say just because you did it that way does not mean it is the only way to do it.
So annoying.

We have no call plans, we are not held to reach and Freq quotas, there is no “you have to do this many programs” quotas, there isnt even a required number of calls per day that is required. You arent required to present your plan for the day on ride alongs, there are no call notes…. This company os the OPPOSITE of micromanaging. Stop complaining and be thankful that companies like this still exist. All they say is go out and get the business. And for once in a long time we have the ability to earn some real money in bonus. If you are still negative about this company then you are just a negative person. This is a great place to be.
 


I have never been micromanaged at this company until my current boss. So some managers still operate in the dark ages. I make large bonuses and have a great base salary. They really listened to the survey from last year. I think our CEO is doing a great job. My only complaint is they need to listen when reps tell them they have a toxic manager and get rid of that person.

No call plan? What are those 100 plus segmented HCPs then? Suggestions?
No frequency? Expectation is to see X # of HCPs F2F. Sounds like a call plan and R&F. Stop responding to threads Baggs and go back to acting like you know how to run …well…anything.

From the sound of things, you must be new. Maybe not…maybe you’re an older rep or an older manager and your goal is to not burn bridges. Whatever the situation is, I beg to differ on many fronts. That is because it totally depends on your manager! Not the company! I know RB’s team is micromanaged like no other…especially since her pimp daddy PC is no longer here to force push her to the top of the heap! RB sets her own standards and compares reps to one another to their faces - not in a positive way. That’s toxic! There are a few amazing managers who are not glory whores, (MS and KS) who manage their reps based on individual personalities and skill sets. That spells out an amazing manager. If you have a sneaky phony backstabbing bitch, or an egotistical ass-wad for a manager, your job is going to suck. Regardless of the company.

Ironshore is only amazing if your manager is amazing - plain and simple. Jornay is great but it’s not THAT great, and marketing and legal continue to fuck things up royally. They’re in their own way!! I would say this place is a semi-decent start-up, but with flawed marketing and operates on a much too conservative mindset for market share explosion. If you’re small, you have to be mighty! You can’t play it safe!! That’s ironshores biggest problem!!!!

Jornay is a good drug but Ironshore can’t fork over the necessary funds to blow it up like they should. Azstarys is EVERYWHERE and has surpassed Jornay on so many levels, all because they put financial resources into more reps, and more bullshit resources that unfortunately work! Your drug can be amazing but docs don’t always pick meds that way...they pick things based on the law of primacy and recency, just like every other human! During any given time period, be it a week, a day, or a month, hcps are going to pick things based on what caught their attention FIRST, and what caught their attention LAST, not the option that got buried in the middle! They see more Azstarys reps, more times per week, and have bullshit paraphernalia dripping from every surface in their offices. What’s going to come to mind? Azstarys!

Azstarys is Ironshores biggest problem, regardless of how amazing or shitty your manager is…

Spot on.People do not leave bad companies they leave bad managers. I can tell you there defiantly are some bad ones here.
