Tibotec

Couldn't agree more. Glenn is a fat bastard who cares only about himself - he has run the place into the ground. Amazing how he has survived the J&J hatchet, with his buddy JS no longer looking out for him.

I have an interest in this company. Can I assume that this is a good place to work for due to the lack of a Tibotec thread?

Tibotec Therapeutics, or Tibotec R&D? Those are different, the first is a sales organization carved out from within Janssen Cilag, the second is a discovery & development organization that was created by former J&J people in the 1990s and was bought back by J&J at a later date. The confusion is quite deliberate, because Tibotec has or had a strong reputation with patient organizations.

I can't say much about the sales organization, except that I heard little good. As for the R&D unit... "Alles Kaput." A few years ago it was a very good company, but J&J management is now merging it back into PRD, both physically and structurally. Soon very little will be left except the logo.

Tibotec is just as much broken as the rest of J&J, that is to say, stated belief in McCoy's ideologically motivated programme of reform seeps from all levels of management like juice from a pressed melon, but absolutely stops at the level of the scientists and engineers who would actually have to make it work. There disbelief and despair reign, and as these people now have absolutely zero ability to influence management decisions, they are voting with their feet.

Awesome products, great comp for some, be careful the market you're looking at is not moving away from PI's. Yes, JT licensed not only Complera but also the fixed-dose version of Prezista/cobicistat/FTC/TDF pro-drug to Gilead.
