I was recruited by Leo to interview for an expansion manager position. I wasn’t sure about it at first but went ahead and went through 3 interviews. Before the final interview, I notified JM that I’m pulling myself out of consideration. I can tell that he was a bit ticked I decided not to move forward. A week later, I get a call from my boss that he heard I was looking to leave. I didn’t deny taking an interview but decided I was happy where I am at. My boss just told me that he was happy I was staying but need to be careful on who I interview with. Off the record, he told me his connection to JM and that’s how he knew. Seriously very unprofessional.
