Transparency and trust?

"I'm going to tell you something that I didn't say. I see Michelle Kertes and should'nt say this but I will. You heard it, but you didn't hear it. Doing your year end reviews, consider who you do not want to take over the bridge into 2011. Now is your time to make sure they do not make it. Read between the lines."

Transparency and trust? You decide.

Sounds like the cuts to come may not be as objective as BMS would lead people to believe, maybe those that go have a potential class action suit. If not, why would Wright say "read between the lines"?

The fact that this blow hard said these things proves that the secret so called 'business rules' may be 'objective', but DBMs are being told to twist the input variables so they can pre-select what goes into the calculation on who stays and who goes. Make no mistake, RBDs were given even more direct guidance for their DBM year end ratings. The 10-15 DBMs that will go are mostly already tagged.

What Mark Write is saying is that all lay offs are subjective. Because Michelle Kertes was in the room and no official statement came from HR shows that this has always been the policy. Anyone from BMS that has been laid off has an ironclad lawsuit unless Weight is fired for his statements.

Fascinating to see Rita and Richard try to back track on Wright's talk and make it sound as though the elimination process for April 1 is objective. Nice try from two totally average VPs, who if not in pharma would be no higher than an appliance department supervisor at Sears.

Wright's statements stand on their own merit, he overstepped his bounds and told the DBMs that they can set-up TBMs for cutting, therefore the 'business rules' are being used AFTER subjective factors are fed into the equation.

Thanks to his pompous, self importance we all get to see the behind the scenes of the real process.

Trust? Sure.

We can be trusted. Just go sell something morons. Based off original projections, Onglyshit is at 50% of attainment. The message is great, what is wrong wirh those order taking reps. More lunches is the answer.

Wright, Rita & Kim, trustworthy? Anyone who thinks they have any agenda other than their personal wealth and position is a dreamer.

Out of one side of their mouth they are spewing "World class launches" and out of the other side of their mouth they are spinning excuses why we got so few samples to launch Kombiglyze XR.
