Its obvious that things are not going very well at Alliance Imaging. With Managers of Operations being required to provide a weekly update and an action plan for Accounts that are not hitting targets - Account Executives are tasked to provide names of physicians that they will need to focus on and give updates as to why these physicians have decreased or increased referrals - people are so micromanaged - reports, reports and more reports. Account Executives are required to call on 40 offices a week which can be very unrealistic given that a number have large territories - average commute from home to the nearest hospital Account is 2 hours away,
To give you an example how f?;(&k up things are. Typical work week for an Account Executive - Monday and Tuesday - back to back whole day conference calls - on Wednesday it is a two hour commute. In the middle of the day you get an email that a report needs to be turned in by the EOB on Thursday. On Thursday night at 8PM you get an email from one of the Directors asking for a report that he needs for a presentation by 7AM the next day. Account Executive ends up doing 24 calls during the work week. On Tuesday the following week Account Executive gets a memo from Marketing Manager and is required to explain why the Account Executive failed to call on 40 physicians the week before.
