I got a call from a recruiter for the Urology division. First off, I didn't know Medtronic had a BPH product. Can someone please give some info on this division?
I work in the InterStim division. The BPH therapy is called Prostiva. That's a different division, and quite frankly, it's a terrible division. They have drastically reduced the sales force in that division over the last few years. They seem to layoff anyone who does well for too long (keeps costs down). It would seem to me that they are trying to sell the division off. It doesn't really seem to fit with the other therapies Medtronic offers. I'd stay away.
We just posted quite a few new jobs for all over the country in the Interstim business... come and see! www.medtronic.com

Medtronic falls on its face when confronted with competition. Once the tibial nerve stim gets paid......i am out of here.
