I was more in favor of vaccine mandates when there was an altruistic reason: to stop the spread. Now that the data is clear that you can get and transmit Covid when you are vaccinated and boosted, that changed things for me. If people choose to be dumb and end up in the hospital because they have underlying conditions and didn’t get vaccinated , that’s their problem. We live in a free country. For now. People do tons of stupid things that put themselves in hospitals all the time. I’m not interested in regulating people’s every move. There’s not enough bubble wrap in the world to protect us all from every possible bad thing that can happen to us. Life is short, live it. And stop being afraid. Ps: I’m vaccinated and boosted.
