Vantive Situation

I would think that many vantive people are on this Baxter forum, there is no separate Vantive forum.

How do you estimate the situation in the new company? Are you feeling better or worse? Do you trust Chris Toth more than you trusted Joe?

Too early to say… at least you are not quoted anymore so no need to make the numbers officially but i doubt the PE will pump in money without results… i would expect a significant part of the business to be restructured together with a big part of the employees unfortunately… that’s the only way to make that profitable anyway…

Yes it seems that Cris is more trustworthy. But we are so small in teams, and we have much more work. It is unsustainable. 1 longer sick leave and our team is doomed.

Not sure Chris will be able to stick around for long… lots of changes going on with the prívate equity putting mens in black at strategic positions to cut off the beast…
Remember those old good times with Jose interviewing Chrissy on a number of prepared questions… that time is over and remember… renal is a low digit margin that need to be managed by a low digit work force…
Good luck vantivers….

all i see is with the separation of renal and acquistion of Hr both companies are in a weaker postion and ultimaely the employees suffer

Jose really has screwed alot of people around the world

if you dont believe me ask a manufacturing person about stranded costs

good quote - unfortunately i do not think all those aspects have been really been looked at and Low joe probably thought that he won't have to deal with that sh***t anymore anyway ... i definitely see a lot of problems going forward for both Baxter and Vantive especially as the separation is concretely taking place - offices, warehouses, suppliers, etc ...

Both companies are doomed . baxter will be broken up or sold as a whole.
vantive will just get squeezed and squeezed, the costs are rising faster than Aloks ability to talk nonsense

And what type of CEO will join baxter ? we need someone who actually cares about people and strategy not numbers and costs

Sell HR, Sell Compounding, buy something innovative where ASPs can rise in line with costs and we are not reliant of discounting all the time to "buy" market share most baxter deals done are terrible margin

im loving all this linked In action from vantive , about patient , love , butterflies, reality is our new owners only want one thing

Price expectations are unreal , my customers are really noticing it , they despise us but have no real alternative i belive FMC and Vantive are sharing information on price senssitviitys as both companys are mysteriosly increaseing prcing by double digit percentages
