WARN Notice

Checking WARN notices is a waste. We've let a lot more than the stated numbers go, because when they get laid off the effective date is beyond the WARN notice requirements (plus severance).

Yeah that is right, these numbers are way off because there are loopholes that BMS uses to understate the true number

The actual #s of employees laid off are way higher than what is shown in these WARN notices. And keep in mind it's NJ only, so you also arent seeing the #s across every location in CA, Mass., Washington, international sites, etc.

True. Last year on a day when greater than 500 employees were laid off, WARN had 75 plus last year saw at least 10-12 layoff days in total.

how will BMS succeed when thousands upon thousands of employees think they will be laid off at any minute. We are in the tornado position, in the hallways in a fetal position until furthur notice. Can anyone perform their best ability under these circumstances?

It's no longer a matter of "if you'll be laid off", it's a now just a waiting game until your number gets pulled.
BMS used to offer a lot of long term stability, unfortunately those days are long gone...

Bro, the market’s tanking all over the place, BMY isn’t alone on that end. CB already said that sales will drop this year, just hope we can hit these reduced expectations.
While all companies are experiencing losses, with some in a stronger financial position than others. It is difficult to forecast financial performance amid tariff uncertainty.
