CM, RC? Its been quite some time now since your master plan has been put into place to get rid of all the old Dey people. You are almost done now, there are few left.
Was it a success? Is Dey a better company now? Better staff and personnel?
Did you create a culture of integrity, trust, great people?
I think the answer is so very obvious, especially from the post right below this.
What you did create is a culture of fear, distrust, a revolving door, and the worst run company that I had ever witnessed.
So, think about all the families you hurt, innocent hard working successful people you fired for no reason, stress that you put on people--it is all gonna come back someday soon.
Your management plan is a resounding flop, all attributable to you, at the very top, who make the rules. Was it all worth it?
 

Your observation is the most truthful, sickening management behavior, that I've ever experienced in my whole career. Who are these people at the top? I believe in Karma though. Unfortunately, Karma doesn't feed, house, and clothe children.

Yes it was worth getting rid of the thieves, harrassers, slackers,and obvious contract reps. It will take some time to right this ship from the gross neglegence of the past, but unfortunately the upper management is not up for it.
 
How easy some forget the success of the company prior to Mylan, that's what happens when they sell their soul to the devil. It was a $600 million company with almost 1000 employees strong. Great leadership and an organization to be proud as an employee. When Mylan took ownership, many good people were let go with no reason given, only because they were not popular with their supervisor. There may have been a few bad apples, most were hard working, dedicated employees for many, many years. The gross negligence is occuring now, not then. The current senior leadership of this company is clueless and pathetic, they have created an environment of fear, distrust and hatred towards others. Hope they're proud of themselves.

Thanks for the prayers I can always use them. You all are still living in the days of Duoneb, times have changed, you all did absolutely nothing with Perforomist. Stop living off your past and do something for the present or better yet the future. Sure I'm sue a few good people were let go by accident, but rest asured that the majority that were let go needed to be put out of their misery. Again, theft-$20,000 grand or so as seen in the NY paper by one of the "great old Dey regime". Sexual harrassment at a National meeting, countless falsifing of signatures and calls,...need I go on. I know there are some good peeps out there, but don't be naive. In this day and age of lawyers running this company, nobody gets canned with out a ton of documentation.

You need to check your facts pal, before Mylan bought Dey, we grew at 100+ million per year and, aside from the trivial incidents that you mentioned (that every company has), we ran like a smooth machine-->great bonuses, great cars, integrity, transparency, great people, fun meetings, great morale, MOST importantly respect from the industry and customers!
If you love it now so much, then why dont you show your pride and name yourself for all to see?! Go on, start a new trend, let everyone know how proud you are and stick up for DeyMylan! I didnt think so.

OMG! You are still on this board harping about someone that 'might' have done something wrong-- read it in the news worthy paper, yea, I know, enquiry minds want to know! It's about time you quit the smear campaign that you think help sells your cause -- creep comes to mind! I've heard 'rumors' of harassment, but they weren't by done by the reps! I love the 'documentation' theory, I have also heard that documentation can be tweaked! I guess it all depends who is doing the documentation. Go peddle your newspapers......

Oh, I'm not a bit naive and I never sold Duoneb, I was going to say more, a lot more, but you know what? You're not worth any more.

I hit a nerve I see, yes I do realize that there have maybe some mistakes made, but I'm just sick of you coming on and as usual assuming no blame for the countless reps that did not do their jobs that were let go. The NY paper just reported the court case you idiot, the harrassment charges came from a rep about a rep, falsifing documentation was a reference to the reps that pretended to be working and just logged phantom calls. There were also a few DM's that got clipped as well, they were also either not working or had violated a policy. Your entitlement attitude is childish, I'm just waiting for you to try to start a Union next so you can sit on your butt and collect a paycheck. Believe me, I think that the Mylan connection has screwed us royaly, but I also realize that we have had some usless people collecting checks for a long time.

WTH, I have been here too long and DEY does not have Contract reps. Perhaps reps with a contract rep mentality, but no contract reps.
I agree with the OP, Mylan is on the way to destroying Dey the same way they destroyed Berltek.
Mylan is a huge generic company trying to play in the branded playground. Let see, they are marketing emsam as a brand, formoterol as a brand, SIE as a brand. Mylan does not have any products that are unique to the branded market. Mylan is holding on to DEY in order to recoup some of the money they lost from their bad investment and then they will be done with us. Christy and Mel sold Mylan a bill of goods and mylan bought it, hook, line and sinker.

Management does not care about great reps, all they want to do is rid themselves of the "legacy" reps. They are pretty close to accomplishing this, once they do, God help the rest of you.

Just ran across this post, what a riot! You seem to have a problem in your life, a very suspicious nature. Let's see what I got out of your post, "Sick of you, NY paper article, pretending to be working, phantom calls, violated a policy, entitlement attitude, starting a union, sit on your butt, useless people". All this in one post, you are way too negative obsessive, time to get yourself some professional help. I seriously doubt you are a rep at the new Dey. No more responses from me and I hope from no one else because this post is either from a fake or a very troubled NY soul.

Its a pretty simple question--with all the BS changes Mylan instituted since they bought us, are we a completely different, world class, super competitive biopharma company?? I think we all know the obvious answer!!

You recent managers are pitiful from what I read as you defend some crap. Morale was high and we had great training with Vic and even Keith-he was manageable, lol. Tom and the other guy who was older.

Christi knew us personally and vouched for us personally. She fought for the force and rewarded those who worked.

Its a pretty simple question--with all the BS changes Mylan instituted since they bought us, are we a completely different, world class, super competitive biopharma company?? I think we all know the obvious answer!!
(and the turnover backs it up).

Hell No! With every day, it grows more pathetic. I suppose it will continue on this same path, it's just the mindset of Mylan. If this is the type of company that you can tolerate on a daily basis, then it is for you, if you find it more than frustrating, keep applying elsewhere.

I couldnt agree with your post more. We got to have FUN at the national sales meetings. We got a half day starting at noon and everyone wanted to sign up for the fun activities. I remember San Antonio and going to a restaurant to learn how to make Margaritas, guacamole and some other good stuff. Now the only free time we get starts at 6pm and we can go to Disney World. I am gone now, I had to get out of the asylum. Back in the DEYS, the TAMS and KAMS liked each other and had respect for each other. We knew how to do the job and and do it well. The managers supported the reps and NEVER pitted one rep against another. I miss the old DEYS! But, I love my new job!!!!!
 
At the risk of being accused of sounding like management or a "koolaid drinker", the good old days are gone at every company. Your "free time", butt patting and easy drugs to sell are certainly not the common environment out there now. The old vs the new Dey should end. Not all old Dey were worthless, and not all the New Dey is arogant and thinking that they can save the Day. It starts at CM, and really ends with CM. She has run this company into the ground.
 
A company doesn't need to intimidate or harass to be successful. It doesn't need to pit rep against rep to be successful, or it doesn't need to cheat reps out of their bonuses to be successful. It also doesn't need to slander those who have left or those that are still here. There are many wrongs here, which I feel were all part of a master plan with some managers agressively taking that ball and running with it to save their own skin. Will it work? I think the story will be re-written a few more times before Mylan goes back to what they do best and that is running a generic company. The question was, "was it worth it?" I guess management can only answer that question and they won't be honest, but you can see the devistation for yourself.
