What can you really expect to make in bonus?

Interviewing for cardio position, know it's 50% split between the two products and that one seems to sell itself and the other, well, launch could be going better. My question is what can one realistically expect to make in annual bonus? Say for mid performing territory. Trying to gauge if this is worth my time... Thanks guys

You'll be looking for another job within a couple of years. If you need a short-term gig, go for it.

It's 70/30 or 30/70.

Bonus suck here, BTW. Goal attainment dictates payout. If at goal (100٪) you get your 1/3 minus another 1/3 of $2k for the bull crap Value & Behaviors. The V&B w/holding is paid out IF youbare around when that nullshite gets paid out.

Good luck.

Must be a CVA position which tends to make more ic than other positions due to the way things shake out. However you will be on a team where half of your teammates will sit at home and do nothing and get paid the same and you will bust your a$$ for them to get paid. Good luck!

CVA territories don’t make more than others unless they are outperforming. Nobody is going to make much this year with Leqvio. Were you on the Prism call this morning? What a show! I feel bad for those with 70% Leqvio goal attainment

CRAP! What did they say about the Prism call this AM? I overslept.

You will never make Target bonus. Goals are set artificially high, sales numbers are fraudulent.
Past is, in fact, prologue.
Two and a half years later, and the numbers are still unintentionally amusing.
Goals are a complete absurdity.
If you sell Leqvio, it is a virtual impossibility to make money.
Nope. You will never make target bonus.

You were pipped no doubt. Sales is not for you. Trust me, your lack of production is not missed here.

I’ve done very very well with Leqvio. For this, I get to carry my whole team for three years. I’ve made right at target bonus.
And you likely would have made twice-payout the whole first year of launch if they hadn't completely screwed you over. I hope your team sends you Christmas cards for the tens of thousands of dollars you've made them while they were binge-watching Netflix.
Your gift from Novartis? A goal that will guarantee your run of doing "very, very well" is over and your teammates, who took three years off, will cash in on their territory component.

That’s exactly right. Huge goals for the performers. Goals of 10-20 units for the same money for the non performers. There needs to be a commission per unit component to reward the people who have built the business for the last 3 years.

There needed to be a per-unit commission the first 1.5 years. That is what a reasonably functional, self-aware organization would have done.
They knew they would never pay for accurate data, and they knew what they did actually pay for was garbage. The decent thing to do would have been to pay the people who tried to keep the train on the tracks, instead of letting it derail.
Instead of initiating a reasonably fair commission structure, they bonused people on giving the fucking product away.
When the autopsy is done on this brand, I hope they make Duane sit in the room and listen (since they didn't even have the balls to fire him).

I feel this. Unfortunately. Ridiculous goals for those who are actually bringing the business and absurdly small goals for those that didn’t perform which would barely would cover the salary of said rep
