What is a group account executive

I saw some for Abbot DM's, the clueless ones that were despised by myself and others, sporting this tiltle on their Linkedin profiles.
Abbvie Group Account Executive
Was this a make work BS job to bring them over, clip their pension, and lay them off, or something else. I hope the worst for the former ABT DM's.

A "Group Account Executive" is an account executive in charge of a group. At least that's what I've been told.

Another over paid job in Abbvie that does very little. They do not even know what exactly they do. Pretty pathetic. Call on groups that they have no access to. Instead, call reps to see if they can piggyback lunches with them to gain access. B

Hey, I had an DM, who was then an RM, and QUIT about a month after he was given that job in a downsizing. Poor guy, missed a bunch of severance by doing so, but he realized that it was a worthless position to be in. Balls to the wall attitude. God Bless

Speaking of this, it seems to me that the AbbVie people feel pretty darn complacent about their jobs while the Abbott group freaks out. I find this really fascinating.
