There have been a lot of changes at HQ - heck, 80% of executive team has changed since May...what's going on? Is it going to be sold? Is it getting better? Worse? What's going on?
 

Brought in new people focused on new product development. The old leadership had become stagnant in their vision. Meaningful new products had slowed the past few years and company wasn't growing at previous years pace. Changes all seem to be positive so far. Acumed is going full trauma line here shortly.
 
until Acumed and their owners decide to "pony-up" and spend the money to produce enough instrument sets to place in facilities they will continue to play the 3rd tier "boutique" trauma player.
The big trauma boys already have sets placed, (read: wrapped, sterile and on the shelf), ready to go. Those trauma docs aren't going to wait for a young fresh-faced Acumed rep to bring in a set and have it processed. Till there is enough stuff, even if it's the holy grail, it won't matter.
Their belief that their "brand", (the Acumed name),has a strong following has worn a thin.
 
Things are going in a positive way. There are people with strong ortho and trauma backgrounds that have been brought in. The sterile and in the shelf opinion has been revisited and those in leadership seem to be listening.

Give it some time.

It won't be long until the bubbling idiot JR screws everything up. The company cannot grow to where it wants to be with that guy in front. I cannot believe HE is your company sales leader!?!?!?
 
Wrong. Jeff is top-shelf, a good guy and a better leader. You sell him way short.
Top shelf? I'm not sure where you are shopping but if Robilltard is your version of top shelf you should probably step up your experience.

Better leader? Than who? I mean seriously? Who? Who is your frame of reference?
Robilltard has a weak history and is a bottom feeder. If he was so good over such a extended period of time then why hasn't one of the larger companies lured him away?

Why? Because everyone who knows also knows he is garbage an has been hiding behind really good engineered and pioneering technology. Now that the competition has caught up and in some cases passed Acumed,,,, the Emperor and his new clothes have been outed.

We should start a count down. When Rich R will pull the power cord from the outlet and the Robilltard 2014 will be shut down.

Funny how this posting board is monitored to remove comments that are considered abusive, threatening, or bullying. For the followers of this posting, you probably noticed the comments on T. V L have been removed.

I have to wonder, if the monitors of this board knew how much of an abusive bully T. V L is, they may reconsider leaving the previous posts up. T VL has done nothing but abuse her employees, friends, family, and soon to be ex-husband.

People like T. VL deserve bullying abusive comments thrown at her. She deserves to be alone. She deserves to lose everything. Everyone at Acumed who knows exactly what I am talking about, make a X-mas wish this year and wish that T. VL receives the wickedest consequence in everything she does.

Continue to allow this to go on in front of your faces and turn a blind eye. There will be evidence gathered and presented at the appropriate time.
 
In a recent article- it was highly recommended for job searcher to research companies before a accepting a job. The article recommended looking up the company’s reputation on websites such as Glassdoor.com or message boards such as Cafépharma.
The followers of these chains should look up Acumed’s reputation on Glassdoor.com. It is no surprise that Acumed is not considered a very popular company to work for.

Point being- Good luck Acumed in attracting highly qualified individuals that can truly move the company forward.
