Is it really going to happen the end of this week? Is it true? CMMs knocked off their throne?

go away ass wipe! I am a BSS and have been here awhile and will be upset over anyone that may be displaced. Yes I hope my position is safe but who really knows the truth anyway? Not one single person is safe. Medi will slowly eliminate the entire sales force. This is probably just the first wave of what is to come. Have compassion for the ones that take a hit this time as YOU will probably be next and YOU probably deserve it more than the great people that will get cut!
what are some of the rumors?. Might as well post'em up for fun sake.
T minus 3 days and counting until PB ends on 3/31.
Peanut Butter is coming to an end?
You are truly heartless. I know, it's simply a business decision. Right? Here's a business decision: funnel money into R&D and develop something new instead of driving the company into the ground and continuing to siphon the money off to the executives. Some of us like and respect our CMMs. Some of them are probably worthless.
You all have lived out your usefulness if AZ looks at the shrinking market of Synagis and never making a FluMist goal in some time.
It will be fun to see which CMM from Chicago will go.
I guess you got your answer. All of them!
I have had very mixed feelings all week that have ranged from calm elation to anger and I am sad for my colleagues who may not be feeling too good right now. When you sit back and really think about what happened, most of us who are remaining have just had our workload doubled without any increased compensation. That is interesting. I am not sure yet just how I am going to manage all of that. I do think it's possible but some aspects will definitely suffer. I see Synagis continuing to decline in sales and FluMist will always be a pain in the ass.
BSS's must be smart because they always say they are on this site. So, think back to when your job was created. You were supposed to sell the physician 50% of the time and work on logistics 50% of the time. In case you have not read the email, the logistics part of your job is gone. You will not be doing that piece anymore. The FRMs will. If you're like some BSS's who seldom sell clinically, you will have even more free time on your hands to relearn how to sell to a physician. So, there is no need to pay you more because the job function some of you were spending most of your time doing is something you won't be doing at all anymore. If I were you, I would brush up on your selling skills because that is your job now and how well you do it is how you will be measured. If you're not very good at it, you had better hope your manager is and can coach you. Otherwise, there are plenty of other pharmaceutical reps out there to replace you.
Amen to that. How many times will a physician practice allow a BSS to clinically sell an old drug? BSS's will have even more time on their hands.
