Why are all the senior people leaving?




This thread is probably the same 1 or 2 people posting. I’ve had zero turnover in the district I’m in and I’ve been here for two years! My manager is great and I love my job. Look at CR’s LinkedIn and you’ll realize he didn’t have the experience to run a sales force. Vanda pays reps extremely well considering some have no pharma experience, if you don’t like vanda, I dare you to go to big pharma where you’ll have DEI shoved down your throat and promotions are made based on your pronouns. Or you can sit through a big pharma DEI workshop where they tell you you’re inherently racist because you’re white. I’ll stick with Vanda any day where they don’t intrude on your personal freedoms.

You’re a delusional multiple poster on here. This site is an open forum and people are going to post truths on here! It is fact that people are leaving here in droves. PC‘s recent departure is more fact. Look if you need a company to get you started in your career, maybe Vanda can be that company but it’s a minor league company. Open your eyes, that’s what managers and reps alike use it for. The high turnover is real!
 


Obviously…. Vanda is the rebound company for reps and managers fresh off being laid off. Most leave in 6-12 months after they get a better job.
I had an interview after being laid off at big pharma so you’re exactly right. Actually I had two interviews. One with the regional director and one with medical director. None with the hiring manager which was odd. Both lasted about 30 minutes and both were on teams. I got an offer two days later, which was a red flag for me. Easiest interview process I have ever had. I turned down the offer (which had a very competitive salary) and took a chance with interviewing with the company who laid me off in a promoted role. If that didn’t work out I had a 6 month severance from the layoff. I did end up with the promoted role which I used to get me a few months and found another job that I love. These posts make me feel good about the decisions I’ve made. Looks like I dodged a bullet.
