I always wondered why J&J offers such poor choices for health coverage plans? And now they are taking away AETNA HMO plan. More over, many doctors in my area are now refusing to take AETNA due to their poor compensation. Why not offer IBX plans as well and/or other carriers in the regions of NJ/PA? As if it is not enough that the state of health coverage in the United States is disgustingly outrageous compared to the civilized world, but now the employees are pushed into disastrous HSA/PPO plans that cover 80% of the hospital bills?
All they need to do now it to take away the pension and the retiree insurance to make the company truly competitive.
