I got called by an asshole DM for a spot in the south. Said how great the new stupid product is going to be. I did not decide to waste my time selling your stupid generic that will never sell in most areas that have tough hmos. Ok, mr paiteint, this new product is not covered and costs 200 dollars or i can give you generic for $10.

Just from your 15-20 words --I can tell you are much smarter than our friend who wants to diminish and place himself above anyone who would work as a CSO. Just really ignorant in light of today's marketplace. But hey --- you can't fix stupid!

Never been in this situation before - anyone out there had experiences good or bad to share and what this is like? Seems like could be a hot mess!

Mess-a disaster at best. The company hired young kids with no experience, a VP of sales who was fired from AZ, a high risk investor that took years to manipulate, a pipeline full of me too's.....need I go on? I'll give them 1 year

I agree this is not a good opportunity. The guy I interviewed with had no sales experience, had no experience with any product launch and seemed to have totally unrealistic expectations about how challenging a launch might be. He hired no experience people. I think he hired eye candy.
