You 100% correct. Unfortunately, you can't tell the truth around here or you'll be labeled a malcontent and targeted. Bill Anderson says speak up, but if you do, the idiots he has kept to transform the organization will eliminate you. We need DOGE to perform a colonoscopy on this place. For the most part, those making the most in salaries bring the very least to the table and contribute very little. AGMs are a prime example.

100% but on here you can be honest anonymously so not sure why you cannot speak freely. if your AGM is a douchebag call it like it is. I mean you hear AGMs crying like little bitches all the time bc there name is on here but seriously- don't be assholes and do your job. if that was the case no one would call you out but when you don't play by the rules rules and treat your team like your little minions, look out because you will be called out. Plain and simple. Like Paul Anto and Phil Liguori- both only care about themselves and making themselves look good but really do NOTHING for their teams. they are pure shit

It has taken me a long time to recover from an extremely toxic work environment led by one of the most toxic people I have ever met. You never read the Deanna O posts they deleted. There are dozen people ragging on her. Really ugly, even if half of it was true, not a good human.

Oh we read them! Lots and lots of them. She sucks ut there are so many more. Liguori sucks, Anto sucks, Angie is also shit. These are the front line ones there are many internal leaders who are total POS as well.

The BDLs were the brainchild of Kevin Murphy and John Saleskiller. The idea then was that Bayer's desire to substantially increase the percentage of contracted business would need people to stand up to RBM's and Reps who previously handled all contract negotiations but would drop their pants and discounts to get the unit business. Why wouldn't they? That is what they were compensated on, units. The BDL hires were tenured individuals who had fair credibility with their teams and RBMs and were coached to be Bayer's discount watch dogs. Back then it was a good idea. They have now become obsolete because AGMs and Reps need to watch the bottom line and are compensated via ANSP and we have AI capability. AGMs and Reps are both far better equipped and knowledgeable to handle contract negotiations with customers and a true DSO model should accommodate precisely for that.
A few of the BDLs are talented and could transition back to a sales function, but several are not and have mastered the shell game of looking busy with endless administrative tasks yet doing nothing of value. Thier egos are enormously bigger than their contribution. AI could provide data for business reviews very easily with far more accuracy than several of the BDLs work.
