Worst VP of Sales

This is why corp america is so f---ed up. The shittiest managers screw up a company and after a couple of years, they are pushed out and you see them landing at yet another company where they screw that company up .. they are again let go and finally wind up in the basement---at Convatec. The land of the worst of the worst. UNBELIEVABLE

Agree, in part. The bigger problem is that we allow some of the absolute worst management people to hide out here. Why not just show them the door? When you have an RSM that the majority of their team hated with a passion, that had no training past being a TM, that lost 50% of their team due to her failures, is still employed here. Was she fired? No. They allowed her to move into a non-management role to hide out because as I was told by HR, that one person in upper management would never fire her, no matter what because " one top person liked her". She continues to play on the company dime.

Joe Talanges and Ross Kanter are the worst. Joe's only creative solution to drive sales is taking what he knows from years in pharma and forcing reps to log 6 fake calls a day in the CRM program, really? Kanter is the most insecure and stubborn micro-manager I've ever seen and no one has even met the guy in person. The little guy just sits in his house all day. Sheppard, time to clear the swamp. Under the watch of these two, entire sales force has left and everyone is talking about leaving.

Looks like Joe Talanges cancelled another Nationall Call. He only follows through on 5% of his meeting set with others. This guy needs to go, just so lazy and disrespectful of the TM's time. Everyone should be pissed that Shepherd still has his guy in the Convatec family.

Please take this the right way- Shepherd is allowing this misleading call report nonsense to continue. These upper management guys might not be qualified for their roles, but they are bright enough to know that these call report numbers are bs. They are playing the game to keep their positions. Focus on what you can control. Input your calls and play the game like everyone else. Do what is best for your customers and their patients and good things will follow.

Now that Joe is gone after being asked to resign, looks like Ross is next. Has anyone actually met Ross in real life? lazy and complacent seat warmer he is. Convatec, just hire my 8 year old Nephew to run Teams calls and ask "what sales are in the pipeline?" and he'll take $10/week.

He is the worst. Just sits in his house all day in Roswell Georgia filling up calendars with useless video calls so he can look busy. No I have never met him in real life, not once.

Ross, although probably a washed up manager, is absolutely working harder than the majority of you completely unqualified, over paid territory surgical managers, that graduated from podunk schools. Feel lucky that you are not still check out cashiers at Walgreens or clerks at a rental car agency. You are not considered a desirable employee to any decent company. You have zero right to complain. The vast majority of territory managers are so over paid considering the value that they bring to customers. You offer nothing to advance patient care.

Well, most of us are getting paid less than Walgreen’s clerks. You get what you pay for.

Soon he will look around and his whole team will be gone. HR, you still have time to do something about it.
ConvaTec HR is just as bad. Why do you think the good people leave or are forced out and the morons are there forever? Dambeck takes the cake. What a turd! He won’t leave because he knows he would fail anywhere else like he always has.
