Does anyone know what is going on with the SEC investigation and our stock. I am both a employee and stockholder & I cannot get any answers. Is our ship sinking into the unknown depths? Are we endanger of closing our doors & losing our jobs??? The people need to know.
 




He/she is correct. I keep asking my sales director and all I get is a generic answer. BS is fed to us everyday at Akorn. Today everything is ok. Tomorrow is unknown.

Way ahead of you. Been sending out resumes and spoke to three recruiters. Already had a couple of telephone & skype interviews. Should have some face to face meetings within a few weeks. Goal is to get out asap. Q2 Commission won't compare to 20 - 25 % raise with a company fleet vehicle and a solid future with a professional organization.
 


Agreed....I am starting the process too. Resume is updated and starting to look for jobs with Indeed & Monster. Good Luck to all. The Akorn ship is sinking..........

Hey, I am in our hospital division- Acute Sales. In the past week, I have taken the steps necessary to keep my future moving forward.

1- Emailed 5 Recruiters
2- Posted Resume on to Medreps, Indeed, Monster & Career Builder.
3- Spread the word of my search to all of my contacts on LinkedIn
4- Reached out to all ex- Akorn Reps who have left for greener pastures.

Does anyone have any other ideas or thoughts? Hopefully, I can get a new role within 3-6 months.
 






BS.....this company blows and if everyone thinks our stock will jump to the 40's after the financials are reinstated, then you are living in Disneyland.

I am waiting on some offers and know of over 20 reps from both the Acute & Ophthalmic sales teams who are looking to get out. It is better to get out now, before the company's doors are shut closed by the feds.

For how bad this company is treating you, don't you think any other company would be better? I would think you could be out of here in a week or two. If it's going to take upwards of 6 months either it's tough to find a better package or your documented accomplishments really suck.

You may need to get check for dementia. It was only a few months ago when our beloved company raised our salaries, but slashed our IC plan. Their great changes now capped our commissions. Though in the past I only made a $55k salary, I always over achieved in our IC plan and made well over $100k. With our wonderful plan as it now stands, we can only make $90k no matter how much we over achieve.

I can think of no other company, whether Rx or medical Device that has a capped IC Plan.
 


Based on what most people on the Acute team made for Q1 bonus, making $90k is a pipe dream. I'll be lucky to clear $80k in 2016. Real smooth Kafer, up our salary (after a round of lay-offs) but immediately take away the uncapped commission $, guaranteeing we all make far less than years past. It's been nothing short of a nightmare here since you came on board, thanks again. But hey, at least I get to drive my own car into the ground. Thank god I can uber on company time since mgmt is clueless. I'd be way more ticked off if this wasn't a part time job.

Since you always overachieved the IC plan and can't think of any other company with a capped IC, then I look forward to your exit in much less than 6 months as you stated.
Maybe you can pick me up from the airport while Ubering so we can talk about your corporate strategy in greater detail.
