You pulled all the good threads down

Sad? Protecting their best interest, that is the ONLY reason the threads were yanked.

What is sad is that fellow employees know this is the only outlet to let everyone know what is going on. These two would have been given the heave- ho anywhere else. No company would let the reign of terror exist or run as long as it has. Sad is the HR department that looks the other way and protects the offenders, not the victims. Sad is allowing this to continue.

If the job market was better, there would be a mass exodus.

Acquisition of Medicis may be CA's exit. Many good RA people there, all have real degrees. Who needs an imposter when you have the real deal?

HR take note. Wake up.

I was told that the smaller Irvine, California office was closing soon (this is not the headquarters location that was shut down 2 years ago). Pearson kept a small group in Irvine for transition and such. What's the status of the Irvine office?

All I know, and from practical knowledge of the way Pearson works, is that as soon as he purchases a company, he lays off all their staff. What I want to know is who is doing all the work? How can he continually purchase companies and not have anyone to do the work?

It is just a mess. Management all hide behind each other and congratulate each other on a job well done. No thought is given for head count versus workload or anything else.

Just a huge ball of confusion.

Medicis folks- you are actually lucky. Take the severence scraps and move on. Better off not working for this insane asylum.

Purging of contractors to begin by end of September.

Even those highly placed will be displaced although they have been told otherwise. Hopefully perms will be spared.

Also heavy discussions about closing NC office. Hard to justify remaining open for so few people, ESP since most are R&D functions that can be totally out sourced.

All positions being evaluated. Too many people as per the Clown Posse. All you guys at Medicis are no better off than those at Valeant. All are at risk.

Cuts for contractors to begin very soon.

Bye bye idiotic contractors. Bye bye all you half wits that drain the company and prevent the hiring of competent permanents.

Buy and sell. Don't hire enough bodies to do the work, back fill with contractors. What a sad place to work. No smiles, no incentives, just same old shit day after day. No accomplishments to speak to next employer about, just work crazy hard and get absolutely nothing in return.

Welcome to Valeant.

Welcome to Valeant.

Welcome to foxconn, the chinese company that the big "O" in the whitehouse wants all US companies to model over the next four years.

What will happen to the marketing people in the derm group in NJ?

Dave and Lori will be fired. To be replaced w Medicis Execs who are far better and smarter at value creation. One or two lower level will be offered to move to Scottsdale as marketing coordinators working under Howie and team.

They will be loved and respected. They will be cherished and held in the highest of esteem. They will be rewarded greatly and very often.

Haven't you read any of these threads? Your one dumb shit.

Hope Valeant hires you through an acquisition and then, and only then, will you truly understand what will happen.
