I do not want to whine or draw attention to myself, but I am nervous about large gatherings still. My family had been spared but I know too many people that have contracted this.

I am vaccinated but it can still be spread and caught regardless. With cases soaring it seems like a really bad idea to even consider meeting in person at all.

My team has been talking about this too. Everyone is worried and thinks its totally an unneccessary risk. Trust me you're not alone.

Jnj just issued the new guidelines as it pertains to in person gatherings. 7 days averages will be the deciding factor. Take a look at your area or county to easily get these figures.

How is the meeting different from your house parties?

Why is JnJ not talking to their employees about Omicron. It's business as usual and reps continue to gather for pod meetings and holiday parties. Other medical companies have guidance and policies that are much more stringent to protect their employees and ultimately the public.

I have heard this same concern by many. One thing that has been brought up in conversation is if Criminal suits could ever arise from companies continually and knowingly putting employees in harms way. Someone would need to get seriously sick unfortunately but it sure appears that the risk is high right now. I could see it happening but possibly a civil case too?

This thread is now pertinent again as 2023 is right around the corner. Xbb15 variant is surging in china. New York hospitalizations are surging just check the news. Hospitals are now starting manadate masks again across the country. I’m afraid this could be very serious.

What will ETHICON do about upcoming in person meetings.
