    Possibility
    By Orli Elkon

    I walk in my reverie—
    In silence and in song—
    Open to all possibility,
No hiding space for the wrong

    Doubts will undoubtedly enter
The living quarters of my mind,
    Crowding my thoughts into surrender,
Leaving no place for the sublime

    Cornered into submission,
So I will desperately feel at the time,
    No alternate direction but concession,
Lured to abandon all possibility to shine

Such is a place of quiet loneliness,
    Though humming with debris inside,
    Cacophony intermingling with hopelessness,
A soul caught within a swirling tide

But traces of wisdom glimmer amidst the din,
Patiently simmering under an icy reality,
Waiting for eyes to open and peer within
As shadows transform into luminous possibility

I guess this is better than your usual mindless propaganda. If you've got nothing else, I suppose using someone's lame poetry serves your need.

Remember cupcake, you aren't allowed to use leadership in relation to Acorda management.

    There is a difference.

Don't worry, I'll keep reminding you.

AS our Stock hits 21, sharing this poem with the CP crowd - as reminder of ACORDANS' greatness in their quest to help PD patients !

    Greatness thrust upon them

Little did they know, entwined was their fate
    Unborn historians destined to contemplate
Their admirable actions will endure through the ages
But if given a choice our history books would be filled with blank pages
Giving their lives would be less of a sacrifice
A freedom so dear was the indiscernible price

A tragedy to all that understand their life is worth more than a story to tell
But it could have been me or could have been you that was sentenced to that hell
Ironically this is what makes them stand apart
From all those that wanted and chose greatness from the start.
They gave us hope that humans had the ability to do good
We could have seven billion greats willing to live as we knew we should

We all know what they achieved and their value to mankind
Those great tales are for the scribes' to mind
This verse is to give credit to them where it is due
Were they not needed it would still be true
That battling injustice and inequity was not what made them great.
It was that doing nothing was a choice they could not make.

    typical princess

You are at 21 due to a biotech run up led by Gilead and Vertex. If you must wax poetic, you should send a thank you note to their CEOs expressing your joy that you can bask in their success.

Just think, if you can hide in the wake of about 30 more companies with real developments, you just might break 30.

the prior poster is a hater.
allow others to post positive things about Acorda
    and close your mouth-hole
(maybe you need some Imodium for your stinky verbal diarrhea)

I know facts are hard to handle snowflake.

What's next? The mean facts have led you to become violent vs your inherent proclivity toward rage when you don't get your way.

Acorda laid off entire R&D in April. How can it be a true biotech? Just saying.

A poetic answer to your question:

    Semantics

    An expansive continent
    Lies in the word ‘ocean’.

    The ‘cow’ conceals
    A prowling leopard.

    Some words come
    Sounding hooves.
    Some claw into you.

    Like the rocks that rise
    From the sea
    As waves recede,

    Silence is the sense
    That some words pronounce.

there once was a company named Acorda
Whose pipeline was so weak it would bore ya

    Princess continues his cheerleading
    Hoping to stop the bleeding

While the rank & file march out the door.

Brother, you are no poet, that's for sure.
    Seriously, Crappy attempt at poetry
At least Princess has an exquisite taste in her selection of poems; and her good judgment in supporting this fantastic company

    Admitting you are a loser,
    eases your mind,
that's why you sit here writing poetry all the time,
and you want other people to see you,
    to know,
that you are feeling like a loser,
    a terrible feeling I just can't cope,
I'm really starting to lose the hope,
I try my hardest to make things better,
to move on with my life,
I am trying my best to find a wife,
someone who's ready to leave this behind,
I imagine some thing I want to rewind,
    and re-do,
    because in the end,
    you still feel screwed,
    then you start acting crude.
    To your friends,
    to everyone you love,
your so deep in a hole,
you feel like your never coming out,
    Frustration building,
    You are a loser,
and that's something you don't doubt.
    Even though you say sometimes,
The sorrow is not what I'm about,
but when you are alone you start to
    scream and shout.

    'I'm a loser, and even if I say I ain't, it really don't change a thing.'

They all knew lay offs were coming. Medical knew hence why so many departed voluntarily. In the past year, you would be shocked to see the laundry list of people who saw the writing on the wall and were either layed off or left on their own. Now you have no other than the CEO posting on this board. Really sad. We did/do not owe anything to leadership. There is none. We cannot launch as we have not the right professionals to do so in place, Reality my friends. The stock price will soar upon rumors of a buyout. It WILL happen.

We live in a very Competitive World in biotech. So sometimes it is necessary to trim the branches, cut out the dead wood and spread more mulch in order to improve the yield. Such was the case when we determined over-bloated R&D staffing needed a token cut. Trimming resulted in a much stronger organization as we prepare the new product launches. We now ask all rank and file to get behind our strategy and enthusiastically push the pipeline. This is a great COMPANY.
