I saw there are a lot of Respirator Biologics Specialty openings posted. Is GSK having a product expansion and if so, is this to sell Trelegy Ellipta? I’m aware GSK does not pay reps based on sales but on other metrics. How do yall like it here as opposed to other pharma? Do they pay well and have good benefits? Thanks for responses
GSK IS having a SALES FORCE expansion of 120 new reps in the Biologics Division. You'd be selling Nucala, not Trelegy. There will be no new hires for Trelegy as the Respiratory Division has already fully staffed the positions. No, we're not paid on sales. It's a "conflict of interest" in every way. Despite that, we're compensated very well and it's a great company despite what you may read in Cafe Pharma. Helpful?
Will the manager of the new positions be same the same manager as the respiratory division? Basically will the reps selling nucala, breo, anoro, etc be reporting to the same manager and be in the same pod or is there a new manager? I only ask because I have a friend who knows one of the managers in my area. I was going to reach out to him, but j wanted to make sure he was the manager before i did.
The Respiratory Biologics managers are not the same as Respiratory. Respiratory Biologics is completely separate from Respiratory, different FLLs, FVPs and SVPs
Yes , extremely helpful . So you make quota based on signatures ? Delivery of Starbucks ? How exciting , so it's a PR position ? Great for folks who can't sell a pair of prison keys to an inmate ? I'm excited , because like you I want to believe I'm in sales but I'm not . I kid myself that I'm fulfilled because my 401 K match is awesome & I can retire without ever doing anything that matters . Deep down I'm scared that I can't sell so I want to work here . I polish my name tag and sign in at each office , I do all my product tests and enjoy a wonderful sushi lunch on ride alongs . I'm a great fit !
Please disregard the above post. He pops up` weekly downgrading the company. This fellow was not cut out to handle the pressure of corporate life and had very low sales [ and people ] skills . He enjoys coming back to this site and trying to make others feel bad. These types of people are also wannabees and love to brag, so please overlook his post. GSK is a great place to work.
I have a question regarding salaries. I've found some big pharma companies don't go very high salary-wise. Does GSK go up to 150K? Thanks for the info.
I hear the new pay system will pay you for each child you kill off label. Top tier reps really clean up.
