GI Pay

The bonus payout dates haven't changed, the are published a year in advance and they have paid on those dates every quarter - not really sure what you are talking about ?

I have searched high and low and can not find anything listing bonus payout dates. Would like to know for December if the 8th or 22nd for Xmas planning purposes.

What I mean is that most companies pay out bonus 4-6 weeks following the end of a quarter. Salix waits nearly 12 weeks and they do it because if you leave before the check clears, they will withhold it from you. So anyone who leaves is always going with a full quarter worth of bonus on the table. The only company I've ever seen who won't pay out your bonus unless you are here there day the check is cut.

You’re full of shit. 4-6 weeks is abnormal.

Newbie. That’s a normal payout cycle. And name another company in our industry that doesn’t pay you your earned bonus if you leave before the the day the check is cut. Seriously. Salix withholds out bonuses three months so they can deny payment if you leave before it deposits. Cheap shit bottom of the barrel company.

Maybe but you never answered my question. What other company in the industry drags out the bonus payment for 12 weeks and then doesn’t pay you what you rightfully earned of you leave a day before the check is cut? It’s funny. Because when Salix terminates a rep, they pay them the bonus provided they were employed at the end of the quarter. They also pay accrued vacation time. But if you leave on your own, they hold back the money. I don’t know a single company other than this one that does that.

it's not uncommon at all for a company to pay out bonus if the employee is terminated but not if they resign .... nothing out of the norm there ...
