You can find the companies he is on the board of, his wife is involved in, etc. Between him and his wife, they are all over the companies getting funding and special treatment, and are not in the ones being ignored by the FDA regardless of what they have in the works.

Having worked on the Hill (briefly), having served in the military, and having dealt with government agencies directly as a civilian, I can assure you that politics (translation money) is far more important in Washington than science. We will need SUPERIOR, UNDENIABLE evidence in our trials to gain any approval from the FDA for our drug regarding COVID. As a measure, simply look at the safety and efficacy data surrounding CYTODYN’s HIV trials. And we still have NO BLA or PDUFA for HIV. That struggle has been going on for over 2 years.

The political realities vs. the scientific ones are what many of the posters here disagree on.. Our lack of lobbying or Wall St./Big Pharma insider connections is a HUGE hurdle to overcome. Frankly, like dealing with the Mob, I don’t think CytoDyn will be able to get over this hurdle without playing by their rules and giving Wall St. and Big Pharma their cut. This will likely include either a buyout at a discount or delaying CytoDyn while running our SP down. I will be ecstatic if I am wrong, but my life experience above tells me otherwise.

If anyone on this forum can assure me the FDA is not corrupted and is only influenced by science, I will change my mind. But when the ranks of their decision makers are filled with those connected to Big Pharma, I am highly skeptical. FDA - if you can read this, all CytoDyn and its investors are asking for is a fair shake - earned not given. This drug works and is totally safe - it is not a risk to award us an EUA while continuing our Phase III trial."

I felt compelled to post this for all the new investors. It’s about the victimization of small biotech companies and ground breaking therapies that never made it to the public or cost many more lives because they were significantly delayed. It’s the story about what happened to Dendrion starting in 2005 and a ground breaking cancer treatment. If you read the entire article you will be nothing short of furious.

In the next few days, data on a novel our cancer treatment DCVax, is going to be released that is rumored to change the way cancer is treated worldwide forever. Data from 2018 is hopeful and if the 2020 data continues in that trend, then we are looking at the greatest breakthrough in the cancer treatment ever seen. DCVax was conceived almost 20 years from a little biotech company NWBO (North West Biotherapeutics). What’s important to know is that clinically there were revelations that expanded the time of the trial, but there were also nefarious forces at work that almost kept this treatment from the public. Some consider that that’s an ethical crime against humanity. Thank God for the people at NWBO who sacrificed greatly to persevere. What NWBO was up against is daunting, there is an Oscar winning movie script waiting to be written about what they endured and what they had to do to reach the finish line. It’s important to recognize the loyalty, despite frustration, of what the long term investors endured while holding the line with their investment not folding. In great part, that is why we are here today. Lastly, nothing is anonymous, trading behaviors are being watched and if you are engaging in illegal behavior, as a representative or for yourself, you will be held accountable in the near term.

I’ve been working on a class 3 device for almost 5 years and it’s all regulatory hurtles. I’ve been through 3 different consultants independent and multinational firms everyone of them an “expert” in getting the ball across the goal line but in the final Analysis the FDA has not got a goal line is it really arbitrary process I fully understand the frustrations cytodyn is experiencing. I was a bit skeptical when Nadar indicated that they were being hand walked by the FDA through the process to prevent refusal to file because I have never heard of such an experience with them. It’s hard to explain what a meeting with the FDA is like and how they go out of their way to not give you any straightforward concrete advice or direction in the process it is entirely up to you to prove to them your hypothesis and outcomes. I believe 100% in the science of this drug, I believe 60% in the management (though less each passing month) and I have 0% confidence in the FDA. It amazes me in this time of need how obstructive they are to a company that has eight years of pristine safety data to not allow for emergency use authorization is almost criminal.

A poster listed Covid numbers-cases, on ventilators, deaths, and asked why FDA was sitting on their a$$$$ while hundreds were dying. Another poster answered: JT, Great Point!!! What is there to lose that won't be lost anyway? Give the sufferers a chance to survive. Rlf-100, Lenzilumab and the CYDY's leronlimab (though less so, IMO) are options that they and their families should be given an option along with the BP watered-down/ineffective drugs. We'll need to have these options when the vaccines show limited duration of their effectiveness.
