Likely just a timing issue. It is interesting though that He's going to be reporting to long time JNJer, Tom Frinzi, who I believe Foust replaced @ JNJ in December, 2019. It seemed like Foust was being groomed for a much bigger role @ JNJ. Maybe he was tired of waiting for the really huge money and decided to do better outside JNJ.

Easy there, the BWI culture is just fine. WW president BWI is big opportunity for anyone lucky enough to take that role. Foust might regret leaving a $4B franchise for a $250M meh vision company. Just saying…
Perhaps, but why ? Almost from day 1 of the Synthes acquisition (Foust came from Synthes) he was treated as a future JNJ leader, showered with money and praise.
