Anyone think it was strange that WF was announced as BWI WW Prez then resigned from JNJ three weeks later? Looks like he took COO at a vision med device company. What happened??!!

 

Likely just a timing issue. It is interesting though that He's going to be reporting to long time JNJer, Tom Frinzi, who I believe Foust replaced @ JNJ in December, 2019. It seemed like Foust was being groomed for a much bigger role @ JNJ. Maybe he was tired of waiting for the really huge money and decided to do better outside JNJ.

 

Foust gave a big middle finger to J&J and Surgical Vision. This wasn’t a timing issue.

 

BWI has a very different culture. Not surprised he made like a banana and split!!

 

Easy there, the BWI culture is just fine. WW president BWI is big opportunity for anyone lucky enough to take that role. Foust might regret leaving a $4B franchise for a $250M meh vision company. Just saying…

 

Working for Celine?!? Been there done that, terrible experience for a male.

Prefer that over Uri or Shlomi. Roy was the most human of them all.

 

Perhaps, but why ? Almost from day 1 of the Synthes acquisition (Foust came from Synthes) he was treated as a future JNJ leader, showered with money and praise.
