Does anyone else get the feeling that Distribution is dying/dead ?
The days of making any $ at this are over.

Killing it ? Does that mean you make 55k and they pay for your gas?

 

Laugh all you want. The reps who lost key accounts to us are feeling the pain.

 

It's definitely a tougher gig than it used to be. The pie isn't really getting any bigger and there's still no shortage of people trying to get a piece. Competition is brutal , Putney generics are stealing the thunder, customers are stingy and set in their ways , territories suck and manufacturers are abandoning us left and right.

With less to sell and customers moving away from what we actually can profit on.... Gotta work harder for less.

 

But to offset that, there's services like financial, equipment repair, new technology, new equipment. We can also get in with osha seminars, staff training, team harmony seminars, and in return, just ask for the business.

 

And don't forget we have that new CRM system to help us identify where the potential $$ are and move our business upward.
