I must admit, I'm pretty pumped up. Great trainers and good info, and yes, I really am a field sales rep. Also pretty cool that Andy and Jurek had dinner with us. And great meeting the people I'd never met before. Thank you Trainers! Now, cue to the negative people out there to respond about drinking Kool Aid. You poor bastards. Ready........GO

Wow.....dinner with Andy AND Jurek.....oh boy! I would be soooooooo excited tooooo!

I could not think of anyone more that I would rather have dinner with .....

Remember when we were told "the numbers are great. Continue to go out there and focus on the patient, be a resource for the office and sell the efficacy." Now its "the numbers are great. Work harder at being a super duper elite blockbuster roundhouse kick sales force."

How many more adjectives do we need? Now we're the "elite blockbuster" sales force! I guess now that we're only hiring the top 20% of candidates, we will be the "supreme elite blockbuster" sales force. Gimme a break!

The message always seems to be the same: you guys are great but you suck! and in an elite way.

I do believe you be on the Kool Aid. Enjoy it while you can. Turn the brain off and just go for the KOOL AID. Yum!!

Couldn't have said it better..................the trainers were great.

Guess you haven't figured it out yet. Elite is a nice term used to soften the title of the remedial training needed for most reps. Why does NN do the training? Cause most of you can't sell for shit which is starting to show now that one of the last excuses is off the table….managed care access.

Have you read the Balanced Scorecard lately? Released just last week it says that Victoza is at 130% of expectations this year from a home office vantage point. That means the sales team is doing GREAT! The Elite training only tells me that someone in the home office is also really good at setting unattainable goals that are not in line with what the home office is getting bonused on.

Doesn't it raise a red flag for you when the home office is getting paid out above goal for Victoza but the sales team needs 'remedial training' for the same product???

This sales team is kicking butt (as proven above) and I don't care who thinks we are not. The numbers don't lie (balanced scorecard)....only the sales quotas do.

Read the report again. Victoza is at 130% of expected revenue. The primary driver behind that is a price increase. The sales team hasn't delivered the TRx volume that we forecasted. Didn't you listen at the last POA? Don't hurt yourself patting yourself on the back--try getting better at Elite Training.

Spot on. When the high-performing rep that posted the previous post as to how well the sales team has done starts taking market share away from the DPP-4s, then I will agree that we have a kick-ass team. Getting the majority of the Byetta share means nothing. This is why you are in Elite training.

Novo actually FIRES people?!?! Isn't that contrary to the Novo Nordisk Way? I think RESPECT is value #6. It would be nice to see it AND experience it at a level below Yurek, Alan, Andy and Jeff.....

Are you an idiot? How would firing an ineffective employee be against the NN Way? Next time stay quiet when the adults are speaking.

That BS they spewed at POA is still BS. The sales team is selling the crap out of this drug. The sales goals are set ridiculously high because it is the best way to control costs.

Price increases and wholesale orders (which home office says are the reason for high perf) are driven by the DEMAND created by the SALES FORCE.

Look at the TRx curve next time you get an Earlyview report. It's flat. Period. Name any company who likes flat sales. I know you may not like it, but that doesn't mean it isn't true.

Flat it is….you're not selling the crap out of Victoza, idiot. You are a legend in your own mind. That's why you are on this site going on and on about how mistreated you and others are. Keep you mouth shut until you have at least a quarter of the DPP-4 volume over to Victoza. Then, we're impressed and we'll listen to what you have to say. Drug has been out now almost 2 years. First year we did well and pretty much have moved most Byetta over to Victoza. Anyone could have done that, quite honestly…..it's a no-brainer. Show me what you're doing up against a shit DPP-4 with lousy efficacy. You should be pulling down share like crazy, but instead are whining about how you have sold the crap out of the product. You think it's different anywhere else or in any other type of sales?

Grow up.
