GSK: Real People, Real Misery

I had wonderful and rewarding experience of working with GSK. Then, made the mistake of working here in the SBU. It just became a series of unfortunate events brought about mainly by the terrible managers. the unrealistic expectations set not aligned with the state of the environment along with neurotic, lack of common sense and heartless management styles made way for enormous stress and anxiety that can make people who value their physical and mental well-being to make the decision to just give everything up. That experience was so bad and traumatizing. I hope the company will look into these things fairly and do what can be done to correct these to make life and work more balanced for employees eventually.

Lol. People are leaving in herds. HR are the only people with job security. They’ll be so busy getting resignation letters and arranging to get back company cars and laptops from reps that quit. Forget balance.

Instead of looking at working in the SBU as a mistake, look at it as a way to a better job somewhere else. Companies love people with Biologic experience. I took the SBU experience and turned it into a new job that pays over $200,000. Update your LinkedIn profile and recruiters will reach out .

No you didn't...the second any recruiter or company sees Glaxo on a resume they look the other way. Big pharma that doesn't sell.

I can promise you I did , and recruiters reached out to lots of GSK reps recently for Dupixent jobs. At least 50 GSK reps made the jump to Regeneron or Sanofi in the last 2 months. Get experience in Biologics and doors will open

One of my old coworkers just got a gig with Novartis for MUCH more pay and better benefits, near those numbers. Yes, other companies are paying those amounts...

I was contacted today about a VP sales position in oncology. What is the culture like? I have a great job but GSK has proposed a very generous package. What do insiders say about GSK Oncology, should I take a look?

Horrible company to work for. If all you care about is money, you’ll be just fine here tho.

Depends on your leadership style. If you are a big Pharma robot with no original thoughts, you will be a perfect fit. Grab the money.

its funny how most of you just never understand life.

a job is slavery.

a job in pharma is bad slavery.

a job at a company like GSK is equivalent to torture.

Enjoy your life !

Just admit you didn’t think at all about what you wrote before you wrote it. Lol. You thought it sounded good and made sense didn’t you? Lol.
