I'd be a fool to quit. Using the company car for my Uber / Lift driving plus gas paid for by Otsuka, while still collecting a paycheck makes it impossible. It just doesn't get any better than this. Plus Otsuka does not seem to care. You should try it. Inflation is eroding your paycheck every day. Don't get left behind. You are replaceable. Build a nest egg now.
You think Otsuka cares about you if you don't bring in the numbers? Hell no. As I said before, they will need a scape goat, and that's where you come in! Seen it many times before...Milk the cow for as long as you can, there are more opportunities around the corner once she stops giving....

Of course they know we are spinning our wheels! It doesn’t matter! It’s beyond incredible we have done as amazingly well as we have with Rexulti! Greedy bastards! Hell, I don’t think Lundbeck is even promoting agitation any more and who can blame them!

Have we really done well, or are steady price increases responsible for "doing well" ?
Otsuka is milking insurance companies and the public. There its no shame!

If there were samples for Abilify it would not be out of sight, out of mind for prescribers. Otsuka hopes prescribers don't think about Abilify when there are no samples. That has worked. There is absolutely no reason to prescribe Rexulti with generic Abilify available. Indications, efficacy, side effects, and price are not in favor of Rexulti.

Both companies are very pleased with Rexulti sales! And why shouldn’t Otsuka be happy with a me-too partially offsetting Abilify’s patent loss years ago? Just like AZ convinced docs that Nexium was better than Prilosec without a shred of data to show! The industry plays on the stupidity of doctors, and it works. There are no ethics or morals in this industry.

Inthink they are probably pretty damn happy about Rexulti’s sales! Who would have thought we could actually pull this off!!! A mediocre drug that’s more expensive than Abilify, has less coverage, and works absolutely no better than Abilify! Hell, we are pharma Gods for doing as well as it has!

Many of us are disgusted with the industry and ourselves for being part of it. we just let you guys do the posting for us! so many of these posts help me realize i am not alone but i wouldnt dare talk with my colleagues or DM about all this. i have already had enough knives in the back in this industry. i will say that because psych is really all theory and speculation, not hard science with biomarkers, the psych sector of pharma is one of the worst as far as BS and spin. But ive been a rep for 15 yrs with multiple types of companies and disease states and never ever have i seen an ethical company. former poster is correct - it is ALL about the money, not human health. It is sociopathic and i am finally leaving industry to sell an actual product i know is legit, superior, worth the fair price - rather than spewing marketing spin, begging, and hoping. i am so relieved and the depression is lifting. i got my kids in college and now i can do something im not ashamed of and actually earn my keep. i hope you all find better jobs too if you give a damn. if not, youre a perfect fit with the sociopathic industry or naive and clueless.

Thank you, it is almost impossible not to become depressed in this job when you have to deal with boredom, stupidity and lies all day long. I am glad you found the courage to get out. For the rest of you: It will only get worse as far as access to providers is concerned. The medical industry is consolidating, with the individual provider eventually being totally eliminated. Large conglomerates and hospitals are buying clinics, and the first thing they do is close them to reps. Greetings to my colleagues in Minnesota and Wisconsin, 2 States with the worst access, although State government played a role at least in MN.
Although I have been criticized by 2 or 3 people here from "stealing" from the company, these people need to look at themselves in the mirror: We cost the company about $1000 per day. What do YOU do that justifies that compensation? Dropping samples in one or two offices to cover your tracks? Chatting with the receptionist? Leaving paper stuff behind that immediately ends up in the garbage? Think about that before you criticize me next time! Don't tell me you convinces a single new prescriber with your activities unless he just got out of med school.
What is amazing is that the Otsuka thread gets read several times per day by hundreds of people, but 99% of reps don't DARE TO COMMENT...Unreal!
Anyways, it is early where I am at, going to go back to bed, sleeping in this morning and then do my Uber / Lyft job while popping my head into a few offices, just to avoid questions of "where have you been?" when my dumb DM works with me...

I have been a subscriber since day one, and I can you that you have absolutely no idea about the newspaper whatsoever. Yes, they have done many articles on how the CCP has persecuted the FG from imprisonment to illegal organ harvesting. This has been discussed in the U.S. Congress many times. In re conspiracy theories, their articles are extremely lengthy and well researched and are not considered to be written by quacks. The article that mentioned Rexulti discussed many other things wrong with the pharma industry relating to drug approvals. Rexulti was just the example they used, and a good one. No matter how you feel about the Epoch Times, every single word they wrote regarding Rexulti was 1000% accurate and you know it!

Now go back to your NY Times that has been shown to be nothing more than a mouthpiece for the woke and socialist movement in the world. I am sure you undoubtedly belong to the World Economic Forum as well.
 


Thank you. The level of immaturity and stupidity of many Otsuka reps on this site is absolutely mind boggling. Once these reps are put in their place with comments they can't contradict, they have their comments removed.

No wonder offices close their doors to reps!
