Amgen needed the “got bought” side to make up for the business unit you’re in right now…you needed our people, people that know how to sell, people that were motivated by industry greats…not measured by calls per day but PEFs per day. Up until we “got bought” we were being run by people leaders, real ones. Not so called leaders who ran out of people to piss off on one team, to get promoted to piss off another team. The writing is on the wall…sorry, I mean Vision call activity.

You are all missing the point. Why are all the Amgen staff clamoring to the RDBU? From reps to VP's? The answer is India. Many of these people know that many functions will soon be outsourced to AIN, the infrastructure is quickly being built. Just look at the internal job board, what were IT/IS jobs are now turning to HR and transition onboarding roles. Those moving to the RDBU are seeking a safety net before the true carnage begins.

Yeah…I’m just barely smart enough to work for a company that still exists and has been around for a decades long career. Agreed, Horizon had something Amgen wanted, so they traded something Horizon owners needed…capital. Had you been such an amazing company you would have had everything you needed to fend off the takeover. You weren’t, and you didn’t, and Horizon is now a distant memory. Throw yourself a little pitty party and get on with your life. You STILL have a job. You have fantastic benefits! You work for a company that takes fantastic care of its people even when they are spoiled ungrateful brats. What you don’t, and never will have again is Horizon. TK sucks! They all do. They all have a primary care mentality. They think that reach and frequency and how many programs you cram in is going to save the day. Or that making your first call at 8 and the last after 4 ( yes we were told to do this) will make a difference.
 


Changing the OSAM territories to fit the ESAM territories just goes to show that this Amgen leadership team doesn’t know what the tell they are doing. OSAMs for the most part drive the business, they have the relationships, trust, and respect. Now you’ve changed territories once again in less than a year. This is destabilizing, disruptive, and completely unnecessary.
Amgen is throwing things up against a wall and crossing their fingers it sticks! They have run this BU into the ground.

TK is a ZS stooge-keep giving ZS projects (who cares whether they work so long as they hit the theme of the day) and reputation magically evolves into she's good- there seems to be quite a few of these stooges(some ex-Zs:)) across separate functions across Amgen head office. wonder if amgen head office was less propped with vendor supported "leaders" how would it perform?? Removing the ex-migraine (complete failure) marketing air heads dotted across business units might help with actual business versus running through a failed marketing playbook that rarely shows tangible results.

Spot on. We allow ZS to tell us what to do because so many of us doesn't understand math. Then it gets compounded by the NUBU fools and their fake everything but sell upwards game plans. Why can't we go make good calls where the data points, but adjusted based on market reality? Everything Jerome and Lacshay touches is corrupted. Those two couldn't sell hookers inside a prison.
