ABM Hawaii Position

A GAIN trainer’s perspective will not help you with knowing how it is to actually be employed by Galderma. You do the same insane amount of work whether you’re hitting quota (or rather NOT hitting quota the way last 3 years have consistently been) or not. That never changes. You will get plagued by McKesson issues at least 4 times a week. Get calls and texts on weekends and at 10 pm by customers who think their 6 filler order gives them the right to have you on call asking the same questions over and over. Better yet you’ll get endless texts by people that don’t even have an account yet since the process is so hard, and When their account is finally open a month later they are so drained by it that they’ll never end up ordering at all since that’s what working with Galderma must be like. Throw in busy data entry work entering calls and extra information for each of the 500 injectors in database . Oh and you must sell I always forget that part. To do this you need hours calculating the latest fire drill promo into points and rebates with data that’s on 10 different reports. Oh then they will make it known that the sales force isn’t working hard enough. You’ve made zero again and sold more than you ever have. One day you wake up dead inside and realize all you are doing is making people at the very top that don’t care about anyone else, richer and richer.
Dear Worthless,

yous don’t knows how it works hear in Kailua. First I take Cleveland Steamers on my chest from my uncle and aumt on the Lainakai Boat Ramp. Second we smoke pot all day in the Kailua beach Park and through frisbees. Third we prattle out to flat rock island and get drunk all day.

do yous get that?

It does appear that there are some who are frustrated and others at Galderma who like it a lot. Spoke to a GAIN trainer and she really enjoys being one and likes the products too. Will try to message David to get his take ans to see why he left.
Yes. All Gain trainers will say they love Galderma because they make tens of thousands of dollars being a trainer. The products are great. That’s not the issue. It’s the company that sucks.

It's a the best company in aesthetics hands down....the Industry is challenging and the job has changed but Galderma is expanding and will stay on top... definitely some people were frustrated with the changes in the market and just in general things have been difficult. So there's a lot of disgruntled people on here.
There is no expansion at Galderma. All the job posts you see on LinkedIn are from territories where the rep quit. All acrosss the country people are leaving in waves.

So many managers and reps ain’t got guys to try something different hanging on and pretending ur big timers. You ain’t got the confidence or skills to try anything new. Ya ain’t got game.

Thank you very much for your comprehensive response. It’s clear you work there and it’s very challenging. Going to connect to some derms, plastics, and Galderma reps. It sounds like once you’re there, it’s not a good place to be long term. The challenge I have is, the industries in Hawaii to make $200k are minimal at best. So do I go for it, make money, try to make it work, then decide? That’s the question I have for myself.

If I could find the main reason DH left, that would help me out tremendously. Thank you for your response!
