ALK Contract


















The RBD’s were given the directive a while back that they needed to be in the field 4 days a week. The problem is there are way too few reps to justify that. So what we’ve got is managers constantly riding with reps, sometimes every two weeks. This shit is unheard of in this industry, and frankly it’s killing morale. If any ALK leadership is reading this, somethings got to be done if you don't want to kill motivation any more than it’s already been.
 




The purge is on.

When 50%+ of sales force misses goals, there’s a serious issue with either the forecast or the product. Senior leadership over forecasted, but sales force will pay for this mistake.

JA may know allergy market, but he doesn’t know pharma.
 




If Odactra is successful, then there would be no pre-pips or pips no managers pressuring physicians to prescribe with the Kurlan xerox copier salesman pressure philosophy. The company is perceived as desperate. Like the above poster, sales were overforcasted and that is one reason why reps are demotivated. Managers need to become a champion of their reps as the state of ALK is not the reps fault.
 


They brought in a national sales director from big pharma who has totally changed the culture at ALK. Unrealistic sales goals for most reps and people are getting the warning calls and then put on PIPs. Most reps are looking elsewhere and morale is at an all time low. And Greer is going to be coming out with their own HDM tablet with an indication of 12-65. I think the sinking ship is sinking even further. It's time to get out while we can!

This company has turned into a complete joke. Within 3 years it went from one of the best companies to work for to a laughing stock. Those tablets are a disgrace. They performed so poorly Merck gave the products back to ALK after finding out quickly that they were garbage. I think the top rep has around 150 Rxs for the year. Jorge & Jay are two of the worst managers on the planet. Jim thinks he knows everything about Allergy and if you don’t believe it just ask him. This company is such a disgrace.
 


So how many reps have quit in the past week? I think it's at least 2 or 3, right? ALK, you have forced out many excellent reps with your ridiculous and unattainable PIP's and made lots of others update their resumes and begin their new job searches. Did you know that even your reps at the top of the rankings are looking to leave? You showed how you can screw over your loyal employees time and time again. MF (great initials, BTW) has taken your sales force and dropped in straight into the toilet. And the ass kissing RBMs are too busy sucking up to MF to realize that they are all about to lose even the most tenured of reps.
 




Depends on who you ask. If you ask some of the newbies with small quotas who were given sections of tenured reps territories leaving the tenured reps with shitty territories, then sure, odactra scripts are good. If you ask the reps who have been there for years who tried to build up their territories only to have those areas taken from them and given to a newbie, then no, scripts aren’t moving. ALK is a joke.
