Soon $125 share
At least we can walk away with about 200K in our pockets for the newbies and oldtimers will be millionaires. If you are a decent rep, this is a good thing, if not, uh oh!!
this oldtimer is going to be setting on a beach and celebrating. Alot of years of work that the newbies have no clue on how much it took to actually build this company and stay on through the difficult times. on to bigger and better things. Thanks RK and Hollings for giving us the opportunity
Been through a lot of it. Lots of dark days, bad culture, poor management and leadership. Plus stock up in the 50's then down to low 20' then to teens. Sold everything vested because was a dream for those who have been on this roller-coaster ride to hit 100. The board should take the offer and walk, Onyx doesn't have the money, talent or experience to see the PRI franchise through without an OIG or major FDA (clinical trial) mistake. Let the professionals take-over, the key here is: no when you are in over your head...
Know when to use know or no...thanks for your babble.
The last biotech went for 94% above current valuation which would bring the price to around $155 or so? About a years salary for the new sales folks. Only ones that are really benefiting are those above sales and those sales old timers that kept their stock, which most of them blew through already. Feel really bad about the newbies with no stock. I just hope Onyx makes it right. Coming of half the sales force not making goal in Q2, morale will be at an all time low if they don't make it right in Q2 and put some sort of retention bonus in place.

While the 94% might be true for some you have to remember that two or our products are co-marketed with Bayer and that will present problems to anyone looking at us other than Bayer. Some of the folks that came over a year ago at the director level will do ok, not great, due to where they got the stock. The sales people in the PRI group won't do very well but I guess it is better than nothing. If the board doesn't take the offer then they need to be replaced.
How the hell would you know what the "oldtimers" held on to or sold? You are an idiot! The only selling people did was at $101 and then bought the shares back in the $80's you big dummy. "Board should be replaced"...the stock is already over the offer price...get a clue or read the WSJ or something...
O you wizard of Wall Street. I seriously doubt that you are trading Onyx as you suggest above. I would imagine that you sold your remaining 100 shares and put a down payment on that new Hyundai you have had your eyes on. Could you please let us in on your day trading secrets?
Sure I've been here since the beginning and one thing you could always count on is people takin profits whenever is got well above the moving average. People would sell, let it settle as it always has and buy back in. I know it's complicated...bitter much?
OK you got me, I am so bitter that you will cash out and have all that money and I will just be stuck being a loser. I was trying to do the math earlier, 100 shares sold at 101=$10,100. $10,100/88= 113. Now for the big money, 113 sold at 145 (just a guess could go either way)=16,455.
100 shares? Oh that is too cute! 100 shares... wait I'm still laughing...people were moving thousands of shares at a time. Let me guess this is your first company with stock options...well have fun back at Sanofi or Novartis or whatever other big Pharma hack job you came from. Just a reminder the orginal KI people almost all came from substantial winnings at previous companies...for most of us this ain't our first rodeo. Go back and do your math using a conservative number like 2000 shares at 100...
