Base salary

Is it true that the base salary for sales associates even for people with sales experience is only $40-$45k base?

My salary was 48k with 5 years of healthcare experience and prior B2B. That's the standard here. Most get 3-5k less. The recently bumped up the base but cut the commission plan so you're basically in the same boat and making the same money before the base increase. They DO NOT link effort with reward. Ask any rep there. Don't listen to the management posts on here.

That's a TMA salary
TM is 60k

Right, hence I said they bump you up. I started at 48k but when I got bumped up to the higher base 60k- they CUT the commission plan to offset the higher base! They cap you at 102 or 103 or something. Everyone working here knows the deal regarding comp plan so I need not say more. So basically it doesn't matter if you are at the 60k. You will still be making the same amount of money you did at the 48k before the commission plan changed. Applied surely does find a way to screw you and pay you the least amount possible. So don't be fooled by the 60k base. Which is still low and the average for an ENTRY LEVEL B COMPANY. You won't make anything on commission.

I agree 100%.

You will be lucky to crack 100k here.

Base is low! 42-60k TMA -TM. Kicker is even if you get promoted to TM it will happen right after they give raises. So you get the tittle but no money bc applied only gives raises 1-2 a year. Cheap bastards do everything in thier power to fuck the people who work there.

ONLY 1 - 2 raises a year? You're complaining about that? How many raises would you expect? I am confused?

Every respectable medical device company worth their weight gives raises/promotions as needed. It's ridiculous that if you have an employee who is up for a promotion/a raise, that you have to make them wait until "the next go round" because the company is too cheap to pay them at the time they have earned a promotion/raise. Get with the times and stop making excuses for yet another of your shortfalls.

you can suck my dick and everyone else's who reads this board. Understand this: Applied Medical is a joke, always has been a joke, and always will be a joke. It's a disgrace, not an honor, to work for this company.

100% True- I was a TMA then promoted to TM. I still have all the paperwork to prove it and if anyone wants to verify. No one in this company has a base salary of $120k. Not sure about ZM's but no way even our specialists get that.
