If you work at this company you are on a six month to six month, sort of contract. We will be on edge for the duration of patents, including COPD, epilepsy and bipolar meds. It’s a very traditional scheme right now, they get to the “right size“ by cutting jobs, the only reason they do that is because products are not going to need the support longer-term. I know most on here are not dummies so just look at your friends in the industry at companies with a true pipeline and they are made to feel secure by their leadership ACTION NOT WORDS or sometimes adding positions but zero talk/rumors of downsizing. After all… It’s the industry we chose, should be no surprise.

If you want security then sell more and be an asset instead of a liability. True assets were not cut this week.
No one in the industry is secure, not just Sunovion. Probably a good time for you to switch to teaching or something less stressful for you
 
The institutional team is quietly being "restructured" as we speak. Keep your metrics to what they're asking for... Or you'll go bye-bye as well.

ASDs are sending regular metrics reports out to RBMs asking for "explanations" when people are hitting their requirements (with little to no regard for: Covid, dead docs, closed offices, etc...)

Yes, you should be concerned. They are being super quiet/sneaky about it because they apparently think none of us speak to each other...

Most of the floater reps were targets for the cuts. Unfortunately, whenever cuts happen, you get a few good reps caught in the cross fire

This is fact. The reps who just kinda hung out collecting paychecks for years without ever finishing quarters at or near the top of the scorecards were the easy targets. Majority of the consistent performers found a landing spot somewhere.

I did remove all the faces from my cuts. That’s why RBDs were not given a voice in who was retained. Bottom line is either you performed by driving numbers over the past 2 years or you did not. No hard feelings but it was all performance based.

Gibbs definitely creates pandemonium, disrupts company culture and causes chaos. He’s never sustained any job in a good company culture situation. He’s spent most of his years in pharma helping to create a dirty sewer culture.
